In their new Forefront article, Sam Simon, Jeff Ballou, @somplasky, Dmitry Poznyak, and Jennifer Starling from @MathematicaNow discuss how clinical quality measures implemented into federal quality programs are vetted by organizations such as CMS’s consensus-based entity by applying a set of criteria against individual measures to assess the extent to which they meet evaluation criteria.
