While other Special Forces Groups were assigned to Europe, South America, or the Pacific, 5th Special Forces Group had the Middle East. 5th SFG was anything but desirable at the time, but after 9/11 everything changed and on December 5, 2001 former Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller arrived north of Kandahar to support the effort to take the city then considered the spiritual home of the Taliban, a mission he calls the most defining of his entire career.
Lest anyone forget- it isn’t just Israel they despise. The ICC has been targeting US service-members on the behalf of enemies of the united states for years….

Remember when General Eisenhower, the Supreme Commander of the Allied Expeditionary Force, predicted Holocaust denial before the war even ended?
Eisenhower pushed for the camps to be photographed, filmed, investigated, and witnessed by outsiders. The reporting after was extensive and internationally participated in.
He requested that prominent journalists and members of Congress be brought to liberated camps so they could see the evidence themselves and report it independently.
The US Holocaust Memorial Museum specifically notes that he ordered careful documentation so that the atrocities could not later be credibly denied.
Yet… today, with the knowledge of the world at our fingertips, we have people that do exactly that.

There is a peace during a jump that’s hard to explain. For a few moments, the noise disappears, the world slows down, and it’s just you, the wind, and the sky. Everything else fades away. It’s one of the few places where complete silence feels alive.

I wore this country’s flag on my shoulder long before I ever defended it with words.
I know what sacrifice looks like. I know what it costs. I know the weight of carrying a mission bigger than yourself and the brothers beside you.
That’s why I’ll never apologize for loving America.
This nation isn’t perfect. No nation is. But it’s still worth defending, worth improving, and worth standing for.
I’ll never disrespect the flag that covered the fallen, the Constitution I swore to support, or the men and women who answered the call to serve.
The uniform may come off, but being a veteran never does.
I’ll keep standing for this country. I’ll keep speaking the truth as I see it. And I’ll never stop believing America is worth fighting for.
