In camp with Jack Bowen and Teremoana Teremoana at Thai Payak today. Brought some sparring over for Jack. Always a pleasure to spend time around good people.

@MaxMoneyMc will face Francis Waitai in a Trans-Tasman blockbuster.
Sad to hear Jorge Castro has passed away. I saw his fight with Paul Briggs live. Despite being well past his best, he was tough as nails. I told Briggsy of the news and he agreed saying “my right knuckle was never the same after fighting him haha!”. RIP champ.

Found a photo album that I haven’t seen for a longgggg time. 2005 at the Hopkins v Eastman weigh in. With the legendary Emanuel Steward RIP. Meeting Thomas Hearns ticked a lot of boxes in my “life goals” section 😂
I asked TH for a pic and he replied: “What you say?” Thinking my Aussie accent had him stumped I said: “Can I please get a photo with you?” He said: “Oh I thought you said you wanted to fight me”. 😂 He was clearly pulling my leg and Emanuel loved it. “I’m not THAT stupid Tommy”.
Sad to hear that 3 time Australian Heavyweight champion Col Wilson has passed away. An absolute larrikin. Could often be seen polishing off a few schooners after the weigh in 😂 Headlined the first event I ever attended in person when he faced Joe Bugner in 1998.
RIP Col.

Proud of our man, Conor Wallace. Whittaker spent more time on the canvas than Van Gough in the 12th, though none were ruled a knockdown. Perhaps a rematch Down Under or in the Emerald Isle? 🇮🇪🇦🇺
