This means for stuff like transportation, healthcare, food, clothing, and housing, people tend to get hit hard. But it's also why luxury taxes are hard to implement. Taxes on stuff rich people buy can hurt the employees at the shiny toy factory more than the shiny toy buyers.

So instead of donating $45M a month to Trump, Elon is now using his PAC to deceive voters into giving up all their info and a recent FEC opinion allows America PAC to coordinate its canvassing activities with the Trump campaign — meaning, among other things, that the Trump campaign may provide America PAC with the literature and scripts to make sure their efforts are consistent for door knocking. Damn !

Is this legal?
Musk’s “America PAC” is running ads telling people it will help them register to vote.
But if they live in a swing state, it collects their address, cell phone number, and age, and then tells them thank you.
It never registers them; only harvests their data.
