#WVU wins 24-20 over #TCU HERE ARE MY TAKEAWAYS - Bend, twist, crack, but didn't break; WVU's defense stepped up when the offense needed it most - Complimentary football for WVU; this time, WVU's defense picked up the slack for the offense that had a slow day in the office - The split-back set continues to create havoc, leading to two WVU touchdowns

FINAL: #WVU 24 - #TCU 20 David Afogho comes up with the strip sack to end the game. Most importantly though WVU defense that had been beaten down and criticized all season comes up with the win to keep WVU bowl hopes alive.

4Q: #WVU 24 - #TCU 20 What a ball by Mike Hawkins Jr. layering the ball in perfectly to Cam Cook on the streak for a TD

#WVU defense bend don’t break mentality is on full display today. Offense needs to capitalize on this defensive success.

3Q: #WVU 17 - #TCU 13 Mike Hawkins Jr with his 16th rushing touchdown of the year. Hawkins Jr now ties Conner Weigman for most total touchdowns in the Big 12 with 26

HALFTIME: #WVU 10 - #TCU 10 Takeaways - Best defensive performance since UVA, but they’re still getting torched in coverage - Offensive execution in the 2Q was not good at all - Offense can’t go away from Epps no matter how bad the drop was

1:04 and 3 timeouts and you do absolutely nothing. Just not good offensive execution in the 2nd quarter from #WVU

Finally Chams Diagne gets one and now #WVU has 1:04 and 3 TO remaining

2Q 2:54 | #WVU 10 - #TCU 10 WVU defense steps up for the third drive in a row. Need the offense to step up and capitalize off the rare defensive success.

2Q: #WVU 10 - #TCU 10 A bad DJ Epps drop and a Mike Hawkins Jr INT leads a TCU field goal. As the WVU defense steps up on back to back drives

2Q: #WVU 10 - #TCU 7 Mike Hawkins Jr throws his second INT of the year after a costly DJ Epps drop two plays before.

How does #ESPN not have enough cameras in the endzone to get a good enough look on a play where the #TCU player is clearly out of bounds. Only would happen against #WVU

#WVU opens up on defense in a 3-3-5 formation

#WVU KEYS TO VICTORY VS #TCU - Offense will need to be flawless yet again ahead of their biggest test of the year - Sell out against the pass with TCU missing RB1 Jeremy Payne and RB3 Landon Walker - WVU will need to stay ahead of the chains on 3rd down with TCU posting one of the best 3rd-down defenses in the country - The #8 total offense in the country vs the #7 total defense in the country
