Vinny was 44 when he set the record.
I’m intrigued by Colts interim GM Ed Dodds. I know his role behind Ballard may not sit well with most but I’d be curious on how much of his hand was in the big decisions made over the years.
Prior to joining the Colts he was considered a top GM candidate coming out of Seattle. Not sure he has a legit future in Indy but to me he is intriguing. Right now I’d have to imagine all decisions with what remains this season are coming straight down from Carlie
Looking back on my career, each GM I’ve played under moved and operated differently. Some very behind the scenes and some very personable and outgoing. Each made bold moves and sometimes it paid off and sometimes it failed.
Specifically as Colt, Jag and Titan, each stop led to at least 1 AFC South title with a couple legit runs in the playoffs, 2 losses in the AFC Championship. Each of those GM’s were eventually fired. Division titles mean nothing. The NFL demands consistency and Championships.
Ballards vision and philosophy never panned out. The right move by the Irsay family was made today and I bet Ballard would agree. He was extended a decade opportunity that most GM’s never even sniff and showed very little for it. This decision was possibly made 3 years too late. The biggest concern I have now, is how far back has this sent the organization from truly getting onto its feet and into a model of stability and consistency? A model that is necessary in this league to actually compete at the top and a model that meets the expectations the Irsays have for the organization. Time will tell.
Stud! Congrats JJ 🤟
J.J. Jansen is now the all-time leader in games played for a long snapper! (282 games) 👏

I wasn’t able to watch the game. Figured this was a lock without a doubt.
We cannot lose to the worst team in the league.
Just an unbearable loss. Gutted for Colts Nation.
Congrats Vinny on yet another incredible honor. Truly a 1 of 1 in all aspects. Forever honored to play with you for a short blip of your 24 year career. 44 straight!
Enjoy this moment. 4 ever in the Hall and now the Ring 🤟🐐
