The outcome wasn’t what we hoped for, but glad I got to fly out to Colorado from NC to meet my dad for some needed father-son time.
My wife and I are CSU grads. We usually plan our Saturdays around CSU football games. She asked me today if I was OK if we went hiking Saturday and missed a good chunk of the CSU game.
I said, "OMG, yes, please."

Hello!
If you or someone you know planned to travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for the NC State-Virginia football game, I’d love to hear from you. Working on a financial impact story.

It doesn’t matter what system your defense runs when your players are incapable of tackling.
"We finally have a system. And these guys are finally going to learn how to play defense. It should have happened a long time ago."

Still wearing a CSU shirt today after watching literally the worst defensive performance by this program in 133 years of football.
Why?
Brennan Marion gave CSU the opportunity to not be the most embarrassing college football program in the state for 24 and we had to go and throw it away.
Almost done with the first quarter and Texas State is on track for more than 800 yards of offense against CSU. Rams now down 21-0.
Two of the worst defenses in college football, and we start this game with back to back 3-and-outs. Go figure.
I’ve seen more heart from Hauss Hejny in 2 games than I have from any Colorado State QB since Nick Stevens. The idea he’s milking his injury is asinine.
College football pet peeve: A state's two major college football programs having the same bye week. OK, Colorado State is off this week, so let me watch the Buffs. Don't deprive a state of watching its local teams for a week.
I hear this argument a lot. But it’s about inflation and the economy and why you should vote a certain way next month. It’s the same argument. And it doesn’t make sense here, either.

Ready to move beyond the Summers drama at CSU but the last question Mora needs to answer about it is why he kept him on as DC to begin with. End speculation, put it to bed, then let's start a new chapter.
In other news, former CSU quarterback Jackson Brousseau came in for Cal yesterday against UNLV. Passed for 200 yards, 2 TDs and 0 INTs. His first TD pass as a Bear.
