Election update! 🗳️
WE won the battle, and a very significant one, but we haven't won the war just yet.
In a MASSIVE UPSET the underdog prevailed and I'm humbled to have finished first in this race!
Out funded 50-1, with no campaign manager, no consultant, no unions, no lobbyists, or special interest backing me. I was the outsider candidate, the only one not backed by a current council member and the voters spoke. They are fed up with career politicians and they are ready to support regular candidates, who will stand against corruption and once and for all finally put the people of Phoenix first.
HOWEVER, in Phoenix, a candidate needs 50% + 1 of the vote to win, which I didn't reach, even though I received the most votes.
This means I will be headed to a runoff in March against the candidate who received the second most votes.
So the door knocking continues, my daily blogs will continue, and our fight to take this city back and return the power to the people goes on.
I want to be 💯 clear on one thing.
I did not come in first place.
I did not make this happen.
WE came in first place.
WE made this happen.
This campaign is the epitome of GRASSROOTS, one that is for the people by the people.
I never would have made it to this point without my Lord and savior Jesus Christ and without all of you. My beautiful fiance Brooke who is my rock, my friends and their endless encouragement, my family - my loving parents who are always there for me, cousins, aunts and uncles, my neighbors who have stood with me, my amazing supporters, all the ROCKSTAR PCs and LDS who carried me here!, my friends at TPA and ballot chasers, the door knockers, volunteers, donors, endorsements, and those who follow me on social media and share my posts. To my fellow TBP running mates we have a bond they can never break.
Thank you to everyone from the bottom of my heart ❤️
But now I need you guys more than ever. We just made history once and we're going to do it again this March. Who's with me?
America first! 🇺🇸
Out here electioneering at PVCC! Come out and say hi and vote! I'm standing at end of line (75 ft mark)
We made it! 12k doors later! 🚪👊 🇺🇸
NEVER give up. Give it everything you have and then some more. Ignore the hate, ignore the doubt, and make the impossible possible!
Tomorrow, David beats Goliath a second time!🐦🔥 🇺🇸

City council races are just as important as the top ticket ones. If you're in the NE Valley, Scottsdale residents check the box for @BarrySGraham and @MichelleUgenti Phoenix residents pick @Mattforphoenix
Being endorsed by a Mayor who raised taxes a record 22% WITHOUT voter approval and then LAUGHED about it, is not a good look. Raising taxes isn't a joke @KateWGallego, but your endorsements are.
Mayor Kate Gallego's failures — skyrocketing homelessness, crime, high taxes, toxic overdevelopment, and light-rail problems — have actually raised Scottsdale’s home values, as more people choose here over Phoenix.
While she can't find the time to address those problems, she makes time to tell Scottsdale voters how much she likes Raoul Zubia.
@MayorGallego wants to extend her influence into Scottsdale. Unfortunately for Zubia, neither Phoenix — nor his other outside supporters — get a vote in our election.
Knocking for freedom! 🇺🇸
Great evening chasing ballots with @austin5549, a PC from LD11 (south Phoenix) coming all the way up to North Phoenix to volunteer and get out the vote!
It's now or never. Four days left. Let's go get it!
What a great position to be in. Feeling good right now.
Today I was able to get at least 4 people to vote that weren't going to. That may not seem like much, but it makes a difference. I've been doing that every single day and I know so many other people have. Every vote counts. If we all do our part, we win.
Let's TAKE BACK PHOENIX! 🐦🔥
A vote for Matt Evans is A VOTE FOR YOU!

This is our chance!
Vote Matt Evans for Phoenix City Council.
America first! 🇺🇸
It might not be the most interesting topic, but, in my opinion one of the biggest failures and setbacks in the history of the city of Phoenix is the light rail. So much money has been wasted, billions, and they continue to waste money on it.
I don't know what data the Democrats are using to justify continuing this experiment but the more time that goes by, the worse it looks. Our current representatives just can't admit they were wrong.
We need someone on the council who opposes the light rail. When I'm elected to the city council I will fight to end light rail and stop this wasteful spending.
How could anyone vote for a lying Democrat like @AZSecretary Adrian Fontes that helped defend people who helped the Sinaloa drug cartel?
If you care about your country you'll vote for @realAlexKolodin. He's got my vote. 🇺🇸

T-minus 10 days 🚀 to the Nov. 3 election.
Out door-knocking in the Evans precinct with Susan Winder for MC community college board @smartypants1948 and Shelley Davis @azgopeducator
Vet your candidates. Vote the whole ballot even the down-ballot nonpartisan races that hit closest to home. I hear many people are writing in “Jeff Nelson” @jeffreym_nelson for PVUSD because they’re not happy with the candidates running.

10 DAYS TO GO!
Let’s blow it out of the water and leave nothing on the table. @TPAction 🔥
"Somebody died, because we weren't there soon enough"❗😨
That's according to the President of the United Phoenix Firefighters Association Local 493.
In Phoenix, people are dying and their quality of life is impacted because our city council can't manage one of the core components to run a city, police and fire.
I know response times don't get much attention but they really should. When faced with an emergency, every second counts. And to know you have a better chance of survival if you call 911 from another city, should concern every resident in Phoenix.
Mass surveillance is on the ballot 🗳️
There are three candidates running for the Phoenix City Council D2 seat.
Two are funded by mass surveillance. Only ONE opposes it. 🤚
Election interference?!
My opponent @dannymazza just lied to the public. I believe it may even be criminal if he filed a false police report.
But I can't prove it until my public record request is responded to which could take a while considering @CityofPhoenixAZ has a backlog of 40k requests!
That's why I'm requesting, not only as a candidate, but as a voter in district 2, that the Mayor of Phoenix @MayorGallego step in and ensure my PRR request is responded to IMMEDIATELY in the interest of honest and fair elections.
It's worth noting my opponent Danny Mazza is personal friends with the Mayor, was at an event with her the evening this "crime" allegedly occurred, and I ran against the current Mayor for her seat in 2024.
Confidence in our city elections is on the line. Do your job @MayorGallego.
