The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for South Plainfield until 9PM
220 homes remain without power in the borough. PSE&G has over 100 crews in the area working to restore service.
Please exercise caution driving throughout the borough tonight. The storm has resulted in many blocked roads due to downed trees and wires. Crews are actively working to clear the roadways.
Ordinance 2026 prohibits parking on snow-covered streets. This ordinance is designed to ensure the safety of our community and allow for efficient snow plowing and emergency access during inclement weather.
Stay safe and warm! ❄️
