Busy week in the lab🥳🥳🥳!
Check out our newest deep dive into the mechanism and control of ring expansion metathesis polymerization~ congrats to our stellar graduate @MeredithPomfre1, Nick Serck and Lucy Miller! Out in @J_A_C_S pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jac…
How much money do we think this saves the average taxpayer? One dollar, maybe two per year?

Our latest in cyclic polymer synthesis and uses now out in @ChemicalScience!
New paper out in @ChemicalScience!
We used our modified polymer initiator to synthesize cyclic bottle brush polymers via graft-through REMP and tested their mechanical properties upon cross linking!
Congrats @MatthewElardo, @amluw and @anapolymer ! doi.org/10.1039/D4SC06050D

I am delighted to see our absolutely FUN polymer network out in @J_A_C_S from @golder_team! I learned so much from our wonderful collaborators at @TAMUChemistry, @UChicago and @UWChemE, thank y’all for this collaborative work. My first paper ever ✅🤩🎉

What happens when you "pull" on bullvalene? Find out in our next bullvalene story, now out in @J_A_C_S (pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jac…). We look at the thermomechanical consequences of fluxional shapeshifters in thermosets. Persistence and collaboration were key!

Congrats to Dr. @SarahZeitler1! Thank you for saving my ass so many times in lab and providing me with spare pants when I needed in lab. Don’t know what I’ll do when that happens again! Good luck we will miss you!
Congrats to our first ever PhD from the Golder lab, Dr. @SarahZeitler1! 🎉🎉🎉 We will miss you and can’t wait to see what you’re up to in @CalPoly as Prof. Zeitler!
Professor Zeitler has a nice ring to it, as much as you will be missed!!

This week, 17 members of the WA House of Representatives sent a letter to President Cauce urging Admin to reach a "fair contract that reflects the prestige of UW among peer institutions as soon as possible" to avoid the disruption a strike would cause.

Student evaluations are a great way to learn that you're the best teacher they ever had despite being the worst teacher in existence, and that you under, over, and appropriately prepare for each class.
