I’m sorry, but the @NHL heritage classic backdrop is horrible. Fans can’t get close. Horrible!!!!
Deadline is the worst time statistically unless you’re acquiring a top line player who drives play. If not, get them in early to learn the systems and get acquainted, best way to go!
We got through NY and didn’t have to face former Sen, James Reimer. Maybe next time Rags!
Welcome to New York!
We've agreed to terms with goaltender James Reimer on a one-year contract → bit.ly/Reimer1026
I’ve spoke about Miroshnichenko already, now it’s official. They don’t want to waive him cause they know he’ll be taken for free, so they’re listening to offers. Not sure what it would cost but I think he’d be a great addition in Ottawa.
The Capitals have given forward Ivan Miroshnichenko permission to speak to other teams about a potential trade, per @FriedgeHNIC. The team says they will trade him but need a legit return (not doing it just for the sake of trading him), and will not put him on waivers. #ALLCAPS
And I totally missed Hamara, who was an early guy Dorion pegged as important. Not sure how he’s seen in the system with the new regime. That said, a guy nobody is talking about but may make strides is Alexander Grunin, keep an eye on him in the MHL. 👀
I think Donavan is a solid LD in our system and at this point we only need a 3rd pair who’s making progress. We also acquired Bolduc who’s an experienced LD who’s available. Behind them are Andonovski and Eliasson, all of which are playing pro games, so no shortage.
They did a reply showing the speed above the players heads, I think I saw Sandy at 29mph as he tucked that goal in.
The Atlantic division continues to be the class of the @NHL
Every team has:
- 11 points or more
- an even or winning record
- an even or winning record at home
- 4 wins in their last 10 games
- 29 Goals For (GF) or more
- the lowest combined negative goal differential
It’s kinda telling of the faith the coaching staff has. Even crazier, this isn’t a Green decision, as we’ve always heard, this is a Goalie coach decision.
Tyler Kleven has emerged through all these injuries as a guy who CAN play as a 2nd pair LD. When Chabot is back, that’s an embarrassment of riches on the left side.
Exactly, he’s a guy I think everyone would agree they’d love to see back, even in the twilight of his career. Maybe if Zub doesn’t extend, outside of that I don’t see a fit.
Hockey DB still has Isayev as 5’9”, 147 lbs. Loving the hockey hair he’s rocking now. I’m sure he’s beefed up a little since the #Sens drafted him in 2025, right?
