Trying something new tonight with sweet heat apple pie baked beans. Jury is still out but they smell good.
Oldest son is considering the below list of schools for college. He is looking for strong engineering and Dad is looking for an autism support program and strong network/ job placement. Both of us want a good “town”.
If you have any experience with the below programs and could speak to any of the above either because your child or yourself attended there we would appreciate it.
Always open to other suggestions.

Any idea why the quantum is suggesting zero on the unload? Worked just fine for soybean. Just got going on corn, it says it should be at zero. Can’t turn it on auto…
Story time.....
"Fort Bliss Beef between 1-6 and 40th Engineers.
This was done by 40th in retaliation for 1-6 stealing their flag stand, which was in retaliation for 40th clogging all their toilets and trashing their COF, while their(40th) 1SG dragged 1-6 B Co’s 1SG down the street with a vehicle in an “attempted vehicular manslaughter” is what the MP’s labeled it.
And THAT was in retaliation for 1-6 stealing their guidon and accidentally breaking the pole—which, mind you, they immediately replaced.
So basically, every act of retaliation was retaliation for a previous act of retaliation.
It all started with a harmless prank war of guidon stealing during a competition."

This is my favorite shot of the whole thing. Dude is carrying the couch like he's in a Pentecostal church service.

The Iran War is extremely unpopular. My personal analysis is that
1.) the Iran War was a huge success, currently a naval blockade
2.) The domestic American economy has been broken since 2008, and money printing in 2020 Covid lockdowns made everything worse, but the Iran War is the convenient psychological scapegoat for the past 18 years of economic stagnation, mass migration, deindustrialization, and Boomer asset inflation. Everyone is way more comfortable blaming "foreign wars for Israel" rather than "Boomers sold the future of their children and grandchildren to create a $50 trillion debt crisis".
However, the correct public strategy here is to take the JD Vance approach of emphasizing, Bill Clinton-style "I feel your pain", and talking about solutions.
Bo French, Palmer Luckey, and Elon Musk are all doing excellent rhetoric on this front: they are publicly emphasizing very detailed, granular solutions in terms of how to reindustrialize America and rebuild wealth and productivity and industrial capacity for younger Americans.
Bo French, Palmer Luckey, and Elon Musk are all in an unusual situation where they have personal authority and capability to make a dramatic impact on reindustrialization. Most politicians (and especially podcasters) don't have this same kind of power and economic leverage. But we should all be supporting these people, and thinking about creative ways we can emphasize positive-sum reindustrialization to unlock American wealth.

This is the definition of chutzpah.
I really try to stay out of these GOP intramural fights, but the biggest reason that the GOP is struggling electorally at the moment is not because they are pandering to "podcastistan" but because we are engaged in an extraordinarily unpopular war that Ben and his friends championed (I'm not making a judgement of the correctness or incorrectness of that war--just of its popularity-- and the massive unpopularity of the downstream effects of that war, especially higher gas prices-- particularly with swing voters.)
THAT is what the numbers say, in about 100 different ways.
Rather than be really f***ing quiet, as anyone with any sense would do in this situation, Ben thinks it's smart to double down and deflect blame to the most important person in Trump's circle that opposed this war, precisely because Ben doesn't trust Vance's views on another country in the Middle East that occupies an unhealthy amount of Ben's attention.
Ben is too smart to go full Mark Levin, but if he doesn't understand that this sort of rhetoric and blame deflection is totally counterproductive in maintaining our coalition, he is going to eventually find that out the hard way.
Need to incentivize my oldest to study hard for the next couple weeks before his last chance to take the SAT for some schools.
If you’ve incentivized your child in some way to do something similar I’d appreciate some thoughts
This started as a way to center the boys after their mom and I split. Just the 4 of us, every week. 4 years later it’s us, plus the girlfriend and her boys, and some girlfriends.
Highly recommend a tradition like this. @BWWings

Don't just report your scammers. Give them PTSD.
I had a scammer call me saying I owed money, I was out on my flat range, I pretended to break down crying, saying I was expecting a call back from the suicide hotline. Long story short. Sent a round down range, dropped the phone.
