Call me a radical leftist, but not only do I think that all school age children should get free breakfast and lunch, I also think that they should come home from school alive.

Do we think that electing a convicted rapist as President had possibly, maybe sent the wrong message to young men in this country?
Maybe the blatant public coverup of a prolific pedophile and sexual abuser?
The president himself bragging about grabbing women by their genitalia?
Impossible to tell

βThey gang raped a woman but we canβt expel them as they have promising futures.β
This is exactly why a rapist became president.

Not punishing rapists in high school and/or college because of their "promising futures" is how you get a rapist for president. Twice.

Tim Brando was spot on here!
Iβve witnessed & heard stories of how SIDs no longer have direct access to the coach of the programs they cover, which is wild to me.
I still think this is the minority but itβs happening more frequently though.

Age limits for elected office is one of the most reasonable, uncontroversial, common sense policies that has no discernible downside and would attract wide approval from both liberals and conservatives. You could even set the cap high, like age 80, and remove any possible argument against it while still solving a significant chunk of the problem. But it will never happen because the politicians themselves would have to put the policy in place. And they won't do anything that limits their ability to cling to power, even to their dying breath.
