This song was written by Harold Arlen for the 1939 MGM classic THE WIZARD OF OZ. It is widely believed to be the most loved and enduring popular song of the 20th century.
It is played here on the 1929 RCA theremin that once belonged to the late Hollywood thereminist, Dr. Samuel Hoffman.

Every product in America can be sued if it injures or kills your child. Except one.
Aaron Siri told Joe Rogan how a 1986 law gave one industry "incredibly special immunity," right after its products caused so much harm manufacturers were going out of business.
That industry is vaccines. And once nobody could sue, almost nothing was done to make them safer. 🧵

You know that old joke where the far left thinks Jews are fascists and the far right thinks Jews are communists?
Well, they did the meme.
Replying to @ACPMain
Communism is a jewish invention, yet you think it’ll destroy another jewish invention in Zionism?

Bill Maher played "Who said it? Fauci or Trump?" with lines from Fauci's private diary:
"It is not hyperbole to say I am the most famous and talked about person in the country"
That was Fauci. And his diary shows the thing he tracked most closely during the entire pandemic was his own fame.
He logged a petition to name him People's "Sexiest Man Alive," the "grandmothers who have crushes on me," and the full guest list of a celebrity Zoom call Kim Kardashian organized for him. 🧵

Look at this. The date is a typo. By January 15, 2021, injury reports were so beyond the worst-case scenario that the contractor could not keep up. NO ONE SAID ANYTHING! We have all the names of people who knew! This is from a data dump from @ICANdecide

The Unholy Trinity: Collective Trauma, Dissociation, and Moral Injury—and What Psychoanalysis Might Do About It
Psychoanalysis faces real challenges as a balkanized field—whether we can share a coherent narrative and identity in the face of increasingly challenging global reality, now accelerated by AI.
When TDM is this overwhelming, external pressure threatens to force material through the analytic frame by psychic reverse osmosis, a frame arguably meant to protect and enable the analysis to flourish. An analyst frustrated with world politics, not tracking countertransference, feeling helpless—may enact, or act-in: expressing personal views, pushing agendas, undermining patients’ agency via overt or covert encouragement or dissuasion, challenging someone who supports a disliked political figure subtly or overtly, displacing their own issues onto the patient’s therapy and breaking the frame, perhaps betraying the patient’s trust.
Colleagues maintain they cannot work with patients holding views they find reprehensible—a valid position in its way, while the traditional ideal, also unfree from politics, holds that managing that countertransference is precisely the work. It is critically important during trying times for the analyst and the institution to be addressing this hazard, which can be born out of an effort to redress moral injuries, and an enactment of dissociated trauma and injury.

Unlike what @washingtonpost & @bylenasun attempt to promote Demetre Daskalakis is NOT a ‘warrior’ of public health & science but part of the cult that tarnished any trust in public health!
The truth is that he actively tried to sabotage the scientific work of ACIP & the COVID Immunization Workgroup!
He worked hard to block discussions on any safety & efficacy issue related to potential contaminants in the COVID vaccines, their prolonged immunological effects (IgG4 class switch), the impact of documented frame shifting (production of unintended antigens) and prolonged vaccine injuries.
We should all be thankful that is not anymore in position of power!

What happens when a doctor’s faith in “safe and effective” makes a possible vaccine injury unthinkable?
Suzanne Humphries described patients developing kidney failure after vaccination. When she raised the possibility of a connection, hospital leadership dismissed it.
Here I examine these stories and why suspected vaccine injuries can become so difficult to acknowledge:

As a former Whitehead employee who has enriched your coffers with Patent royalties,
I highly recommend the board investigate Ruth Lenmann.
You built an institution on intellectual giants and let a microcephaly DEI warrior destroy it.
You need to think long term. Reflection deep into the future and deep into the past much like your founding scientists, is in order during this crisis.
Yet Dr. Lenmann priorities fail this test and embellish zeitgeist du jour histrionics to your institutions detriment.
The easy thing to do is to hope this blows over and do nothing.
This is your worst move.
It will be witnessed by all and Science has never been more hypermobile. As it stands the Broad looms over you next door and you will become a relic of past like Building 20.
@BillAckman @LocasaleLab @CarlosEAlvare17 @WhiteheadInst
MIT thinks it can put on a show claiming to value merit to keep the DOJ and the White House off its back.
David Sabatini’s case exposes that smokescreen. Their true colors were on display throughout his ordeal. Scientific excellence was disposable when it conflicted with their political priorities. They have hollowed out the science while continuing to trade on the reputation it built. Their real priorities are far removed from the excellence they advertise.
Excellent article from @mrddmia.

A husband and wife with four kids will spend $3-4,000 and more per month on medical insurance now, and it buys nothing but the right to pay more when you actually use it. This is an outrage. More outrageous, there is hardly any political talk about this fixing this problem even though the fix is readily at hand. Unsustainable.

A pharmabot just used our own paper to prove to us that our work is 'FLAWED'.
He is clueless to the fact that the paper he delivered highlights the flaws in the Pharma funded Achs paper.
But he has so many letters after his name and a Pfizer logo in his bio... He must be the Science TM.
@JesslovesMJK @DJSpeicher
Wow, did you even read the paper? It is a critique of industry standards for measuring dSDNA. Hence the use of the word “flawed” in the title.
You linked the paper written by Kevin McKernan, David Speicher and Jessica Rose; it is a critique of Achs et al. (2025) and argues that the methods used in that study (and similar industry/regulatory assessments) systematically underestimate residual DNA in mRNA vaccines.
McKernan et al. identify specific technical problems in Achs et al.’s work: use of full-length plasmid molecular weights for calculations when sequencing showed short fragments (leading to 1.5–10× underestimation), primer designs that preferentially detect non-spike sequences, thermal degradation during library prep, detection limits higher than regulatory thresholds, inability of the platforms to capture longer DNA fragments, and failure to account for RNA:DNA hybrids that protect DNA from degradation.
You presented the paper as evidence that McKernan’s claims are flawed, but the paper’s explicit conclusion is the opposite: Achs et al.’s findings of “no excessive residual DNA” are invalid for regulatory purposes because of these methodological biases toward underestimation.
Not only that but now there is evidence that even the measurements they were producing at the time this paper was published were undercounted as newer qPCR methods have been invented since that time which are more accurate than what was available at that time.

Many people seem incapable of grasping that there is more than one variety of authoritarianism. They're not all extremes of the Left. Some are extremes of the Right.
But, the extremes of both end up coinciding in their two key facets of authoritarianism: they each end up authoritarian in both economic and personal respects. And that's at the BOTTOM in the Nolan diagram.
That doesn't mean they're the same. There are many other dimensions they differ in, and so -- in the diagram below -- they would actually be at different positions in the third (and other dimensions) coming out of the page that isn't represented.
So, yes, fascism and Communism -- in spite of not being identical -- do become in practice similar, massively violating both economic and personal liberties. They both end up socialist. ...which is at the bottom, not the left side.
They're each extremes of pathways that begin -- near "moderate" -- in the left and right directions as we're familiar with in typical debates (see center region of diagram). The moderate Left historically is big on personal freedom, not on economic freedom. The moderate Right historically more free market, but less jazzed about flouting cultural traditions.
As one continues in each direction, however, they in practice never end up at the respective left and right corners of the diagram. Instead, each begins justifying the violation of the other category of freedom as well.
For the extreme Left, the state increasingly restricts personal liberties in order to enforce its extreme ideological and economic goals.
For the extreme Right, the state increasingly restricts economic liberties in order to maintain power and enforce its strict social conformity, often favoring national businesses or industries, tariffs, subsidies, trade restrictions.
Elon, you absolute fucking moron. The Nazis were far-right fascists who destroyed labor unions, persecuted communists and socialists, and murdered political opponents. Hitler literally purged the party’s left wing.
Calling Nazis socialists because of their name is like believing North Korea is democratic because it calls itself the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
Imagine being the richest man alive and still being too fucking stupid to understand history at a middle-school level. Money can buy you a platform, Elon. Apparently, it can’t buy you a functioning brain.

Aaron Siri just revealed the real reason why New York launched a massive legal attack on unvaccinated Amish communities.
“These kids are healthy.”
“They don’t suffer from any of the chronic diseases that plague American children.”
“If this was about health, New York State should be looking at these kids as models and asking, why are they healthier?”
“Why do these… Amish children not suffer from the chronic health conditions that are plaguing over 40% [of children] according to the CDC?”
“Some data reflects even higher.”
“This is up from under 10% of kids having a chronic health condition in America in the early ’80s.”
“What’s changed?”
“Maybe they should take a look at this community instead of trying to force upon them the same type of lifestyle that… has resulted in that increase.”
