The Charlotte Hornets on Feb. 11 are retiring the No. 1 jersey of Muggsy Bogues, the shortest player in NBA history at 5-foot-3. Bogues spent 10 of his 14 NBA seasons in Charlotte (1988-1998) and is the franchise leader in assists, steals and minutes.
I guess FAMU will address special teams in the off season. Lots of mistakes with that unit all season and I haven't seen any meaningful improvement.
Florida A&M falls to UAPB 31-28 during homecoming.
A really disappointing result for the Rattlers. They left 5 points on the board with missed/blocked kicks.
@WCTV
Wild day. The MEAC champion will probably be undefeated in conference play and possibly have one conference loss. All 6 teams are still in it, but Norfolk, DSU, and Morgan can't lose again and hope to win the conference championship.
Bad loss for the Golden Bulls. Gotta beat VSU and hope VSU loses to Union. Otherwise, JCSU won't be in the playoffs.
Shout out to Bethune for getting the win today against Jackson State. Woodie is a better coach and program builder than I expected. Thrush did the right thing by giving him time to build a winner.
Our Rattlers are playing about how I expected against UAPB. Lots of mistakes, but showing flashes of being a good team. Let's hope FAMU can get this homecoming win.

9th Wonder met a stranger in Raleigh NC in February of 2003. The stranger’s name was T. After listening to 9th beats, he told him “if I’m ever around somebody that needs some beats, I’ll them about you”.
In September of 2003, he gets a call from Young Guru telling him to come to NYC to play beats for JAY-Z.
2 months later on November 14th 2003, The Black Album dropped & he was on it. On the song they made, Hov said “9th Wonder”, & it changed 9th’s life. He was selling beats for $100-$300 before that.
His life changed in less than a year solely because he was prepared & super studious in his craft when he met the right stranger.
Our Rattlers played relatively well yesterday. JSU is a good team and will probably represent the SWAC in the Celebration Bowl since the conference is so weak this year.
He'll get the record if he remains healthy.
It's a 1,000-yard rushing season for @WhoGonStopFabo. He's up to 1,039. School record is 1,176, set in 1976.
Not good.
🚨 NAIA takes down D1
It begins!!
@WarnerU_MBB took down D1 FAMU 59-44 in an early exhibition for both teams last night!

This is Willie Simmons.
He's 76-32 as a College Head Coach.
He went 21-12 at Prairie View A&M (FCS)
They went 19-25 the prior 4 seasons.
He went 45-13 at Florida A&M (FCS)
They went 11-34 the prior 4 seasons.
He's 10-8 at FIU.
They went 13-35 the prior 4 seasons.
Seems like Coach Jackson miscalculated the type of team he had in Prairie View. Playing all those really good early season opponents may have hurt his players' confidence going into conference play.
Three QBs who were Rattlers last season have started this year at other schools. They have all shown flashes of being good and flashes of being pretty bad. Coach Gray did the right thing by bringing in his own QBs.
Rough day for the MEAC. SC State is regressing and conference play starts next week. Morgan State is looking like the clear favorite to win the conference.
SC State is looking real bad against Charleston Southern. I really hope the Bulldogs get it together soon.
Win chances just went up 10%.
