Everyone's origins are important. Dr Margaret Oates OBE shaped our service and it is because of her, our perinatal team, and unit exist. Her ethos and approach still very much under pins all we do.

'The Margaret Oats Mother and Baby Unit is an eight bed specialist inpatient perinatal ward for mothers from 12 weeks of pregnancy with a serious mental illness and their babies up to one year after birth.
What a beautiful hamper to receive from a recently discharged patient and their family. Such thoughtful and heartfelt gifts. We are so privileged to support ladies and their families in such a difficult time.
