The First page of the @wavemsgs story
India is pushing mandatory SIM binding for messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal.
But why should private messaging depend on your phone number in the first place?
That’s exactly why we built @wavemsgs.
No phone number. No SIM binding. No email. No username. No spam
Just end-to-end encrypted messaging, where you control who can reach you.
Try Wave: wavemsg.app
Has LinkedIn found out about the PHP vulnerability yet, or do they still need more time to realize it?
HSBC, do you have any idea that your website hasn’t been allowing me to proceed to the next step of the credit card application for the past three months? It’s clearly a website issue, and your support team has been no help at all.

At the start of this year, I tweeted that XMTP was one of the things I was most excited about. And here we are.
XMTP has done an incredible job with decentralized messaging, putting privacy first. It’s sad to see this chapter come to an end, but I understand the world is moving fast with AI, and the team is taking a new direction.
Really rooting for you guys to reach even greater heights on this new journey.
All the best to the entire team, and especially @ShaneMac. Nothing but respect, man.
Important update for the entire XMTP community:
XMTP is becoming an open-source messaging stack you can run yourself.
Please read this post for all of the details, changes, and plans for the future

We’ve temporarily shut down wavemsg.app to rewrite the entire backend in PHP so we can patch the vulnerability too.

At this point we feel like @x is not even trying
Today we're excited to launch Wave 1.8 and it's a big one.
From now on, you can make voice and video calls right inside your personal conversations. Calls are E2EE.
Answer straight from your Lock Screen, keep chatting while the call floats in a small window, and add live filters to your video.
Every call, including the ones you missed, shows up in your call history.
You can now send videos too. And when one photo isn't enough, send up to 10 photos and videos together as an album.
Sent something you didn't mean to? You can now unsend any message you've sent, not just photos and voice notes.
We've also added Chat Backup. Wave can back up your chats to iCloud automatically, every day, week, or month,
so when you reinstall Wave or switch to a new iPhone, your conversations come right back with you.
The number of views it got is frying me

It’s not that hard to understand. Even getting small things done in India takes so much time and effort because of corruption and bureaucracy. People have seen countless examples of this, and many don’t want to spend their lives fighting the system. They’d rather move somewhere where things actually work. Let them make that choice.
