There is an important lesson here... A guy in Granby, Connecticut, is facing charges after he shot a black bear. Michael Gero says the bear broke into his pen and killed some of his chickens. On Friday, he called the stateโ€™s emergency line and said heโ€™d just killed a bear that was going after his animals at home. ๐Ÿค” He told investigators he saw the bear eating a chicken in his yard, then he shot it. He also said he thinks a bear killed his goats last month. Officials charged him with illegally killing a black bear. Heโ€™s due in court on October 9.
