Another hugely positive step forward for our proposed 3G Community Sports Hub at Maple Grove. A huge thank you to Samantha Niblett MP for her letter of support and recognition of the transformational impact this project could have for residents across South Derbyshire and East Staffordshire. Samantha has highlighted exactly why this bid matters so much, not just for football, but for the wider community. The Football Foundation investment would help create far more than a new playing surface. It would provide a year-round facility for children, young people and adults, support local schools and community groups, encourage healthier lifestyles and strengthen community connections through sport. What makes this project particularly exciting is the wider vision. Alongside the 3G pitch, the plans include additional sporting and community facilities that will help create a truly inclusive hub for the whole community and leave a lasting legacy for future generations. Every letter of support reinforces the strength of our bid and demonstrates the demand for improved sports provision across the area. The Football Foundation opportunity represents a once-in-a-generation investment that can unlock significant social, health and economic benefits for local residents. However, while Football Foundation funding is a critical part of making this vision a reality, private sector support and investment are equally important. We are continuing to seek support from local businesses, sponsors, donors and community champions who want to be part of creating a lasting community asset. Every contribution helps strengthen the project and brings us one step closer to delivering facilities that will benefit thousands of people across our area for generations to come. Thank you again, Samantha, for your support and belief in what this project can achieve. Together, we are building a stronger case for a facility that will serve our community for many years to come. #StapenhillFC #FootballFoundation #GrassrootsFootball #CommunitySport #SouthDerbyshire #EastStaffordshire #3GPitch #CommunityHub #InvestingInOurCommunity #StrongerTogether #CommunityInvestment #BusinessSupport #LocalLegacy
