Two interesting things I discovered this week are:
1. That you can get genuine court affidavits online from the Nigerian Federal High Court. A genuine one, not the ones those roadside people give you.
The website has all sorts of affidavits, even ones I didn't know existed.
2. The National Population Commission has a working portal. You can register your newborn online and get a certified birth certificate that is accepted worldwide.
You can do all these things without any bureaucracy.

It's astonishingly frequent for rich dentists to load up their entire family in a private plane and wipe out their entire bloodline. This isn't what happened today - Learjets are a whole new price tier *and* required skills tier. The pilot was 55-year old Jeff Gregory, and the co-pilot was 20 year old Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras. Thus they were professional charter pilots, and as one would expect, the young newbie was flying as co-pilot, with the very experienced older pilot being pilot-in-command.
Pilot-in-command means "pilot in command." The co-pilot does not make decisions for navigation or anything else; they may be instructed to assist the pilot in those things; such as making radio calls to ATC to route around storms and such, but the pilot in command is the one flying the plane and making the decisions. The buck stops with him.
I've said this before when the usual shitbags come slithering out of their holes after a disaster like this, but the shameless blood libel has never been more egregious or disgusting.

This is one of the most ridiculous things I hear from people in their 20s and 30s.
You’re 30 years old. You’ve only been conscious of the world around you for about 20 years, and you’ve probably only been making independent decisions for the last 12 years. Yet, you hope to live until you’re 90.
Think about that for a moment. You potentially have another 60 years ahead of you, and you’ve only spent about one-sixth of that time making your own decisions.
Yet, somehow, you’ve convinced yourself that every major decision you make over the next 60 years must revolve around what’s best for your children. 🤣
What about you? Your ambitions, your happiness, your personal growth, and the life you still have ahead of you? It is a lie, majority Japa for financial reasons, and a few others for security reasons.
If I didn’t believe this was a classic case of self-deception, I’d call it plain stupidity.
I can only believe this if it comes from someone who Japad after being very very successful in Nigeria and is at least 45 years old.

结果所有人的第一反应当然是：他到底说了什么？
于是，一个本来只在海外足球圈和 meme 圈小范围传播的话题，被迅速扩散到了整个中文足球互联网。很多人因此第一次知道，姆巴佩提到了那个把自己脸 P 到毛泽东身上的表情包，并把毛泽东称为“中国独裁者”。
更大的问题是，声明一旦完成“政治定性”，后续影响就不再由懂球帝控制了。
现在已经有不少足球博主开始删除过去制作的姆巴佩相关内容。品牌方也可能面临表态、撤广告甚至解约的压力。很多人并不是因为真的认为所有相关内容都必须消失，而是担心“别人都表态了，我不表态会不会有风险”。
这就是一种典型的预防性服从。
而姆巴佩偏偏又不是一个可以轻易从足球世界里消失的人。
他是皇马和法国队的核心，也是全球流量最大的球员之一。未来几年他还会继续进球、踢欧冠、踢世界杯、参加国家德比。皇马和法国队几乎不可能因为这件事放弃他。
于是中国足球媒体反而陷入了一个长期尴尬：
如果姆巴佩帽子戏法，到底报不报道？
如果法国队靠他晋级，到底写不写他的名字？
如果刻意回避，反而会不断提醒所有人：“为什么不能提姆巴佩？”
这让我想到1969年中苏关系紧张时的一个故事。苏联领导人柯西金打电话到北京，希望联系中国领导层，但接线人员受到当时“反修”宣传影响，没有正常转接，反而直接斥责对方。
从个人角度看，他也许觉得自己政治立场非常正确，但从国家利益看，这种做法显然非常危险。
两件事当然性质完全不同，但背后的逻辑很相似：
一个人或机构认为自己做出了最“正确”的政治表态，并不代表这个决定真的对整体最有利。
有时大家真正考虑的不是“什么结果最好”，而是“什么动作对我最安全”。
于是一个机构抢先表态，内容创作者开始删视频，品牌开始做危机公关，整个行业被迫承担后果。
最讽刺的是，原本想降低某句话影响的人，最后反而成了它最大的传播者。
这才是真正意义上的搬起石头砸自己的脚。

卧槽！我越来越怀疑，姆巴佩这波是被人精准做局了！
有人说，4月份拍的采访，当时没放花絮，昨天才公开。行，这说得过去。
还有人说我在洗，拿姆巴佩回应中的“近期采访”的说法反驳我。
但我特意翻了4月份的原视频，发现姆巴佩的衣服和昨天的视频几乎一模一样，甚至连脖子上的项链配饰都一样！
你告诉我，一个顶流球星半年后接受同一档节目采访，连衣服项链都原封不动？真有这么巧？
更离谱的是，这么短一段花絮，偏偏压到10月26日金球奖颁奖当天才公开。
再看视频本身，姆巴佩嘴根本没说具体人名，理论上甚至可以是秦始皇，但画面却被配上了具体的表情包。
随后懂球帝直接下场定性，甚至表示原话不能翻译，品牌方紧接着光速切割。
我就纳闷了：
衣服、项链能对上，采访时间却说不清；当事人没点名，媒体倒替他认了人。
这到底是姆巴佩自己说错话翻车，还是有人把旧素材挑了个好日子，剪成了一颗精准引爆的舆论炸弹？

So don't let fear make you reject treatment before you even understand your diagnosis.
And don't assume:
