Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.

At 10, she's a victim with Mum Marie, of Paris 4Feb1944 Roundup.
She should've NEVER been deported since Dad, a Polish volunteer in the French Army had been a POW in Germany since 1939.

Inheritance tax is trending.
In 2016, Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, avoided more than £3Billion in inheritance tax when his father died, through the use of trust funds and shell companies.
A reminder that tax is, and continues to be, only for poor people.

18 October 1940 | Dutch Jewish girl, Greetje Leger, was born in Amsterdam.
She was deported to #Auschwitz from #Westerbork in February 1944. She was murdered in a gas chamber after arrival selection.

On this day in 1942, a 6 year old French Jewish girl arrived at Auschwitz. She had been deported separately to her parents. After selection she was murdered in the gas chamber. Her name was Gina Goldstein
