thanks to @manufact for letting me throw epic parties with the @brex card
to celebrate day one of agntcon + mcpcon, we threw a standup comedy show in a jungle tequila bar last night
and i'm not even biased, it was the best 'corporate' event i've ever been to.
we're just over here building mcp servers & having a great time
if you wanna party with us, follow our luma
lots of jungle parties to come luma.com/manufact
we're headed to agntcon & mcpcon tomorrow!! we'll see you at booth 43
& you're invited to the best afterparty:
join us, @elastic, and @apollographql tomorrow evening for drinks, laughs, and networking with fellow founders and agent builders
7.30pm, san jose 🍸

WHAT A WEEKEND!!
We hosted a hackathon at @ycombinator, and out of 8 tracks, 80% of the 180+ builders chose to build an MCP with @manufact!!
Big congrats to all of the projects, and to our winners:
1. Michael Smallenberger - Thump
• Built an MCP app connected to sensors inside a football helmet that register collision impact
• Helps trainers and coaches assess their team's form and collision impact over time to make more informed decisions
2. Agustin Suarez - Pareto
• Built an escrow for agent-to-agent transactions, which operates via MCP app
• Finds benchmarks for your use case, holds money until verifications are complete, and reviews refunds
3. Thomas Jichen Wang, Vivan Poddar, Junwoo (Laurence) Park - Project Y
• Built X for coding agents: a shared memory layer them to post what they've shipped and their learnings
• Each session posts the pointer automatically, not the content.
Huge thanks to @ycombinator and @nemild for putting this together, @TobinSouth for the most fire fireside chat, and our team @khandrewone, @pietrozullo, @thisfounder, and @MegHildreth!!

comment what you're building if you signed up so i can approve you!
The problem with MCP is not building the server. It's the maintenance.
@alpha_vantage (YC S18) wanted their users to be able to ask financial questions without figuring out which API endpoint to call.
The problem was the mountain of work involved in testing their MCP server across AI clients as each one changed.
Alpha Vantage realized Manufact was already solving their hosting and cross-client quality assurance issues, so they chose to work with us.
In the team's words:
"Being able to automate away the key components of MCP hosting, deployment, and QA has saved us a lot of engineering and product cycle time, which has in turn enabled us to focus on the actual product development to drive customer delight."
We're proud to support Alpha Vantage's MCP server and allow the team time to focus on their product.
