In the Bay area and checked out some replicas on display of Curtiss D Pusher airplanes. This is the same type of plane that Frank Stites built and flew! So cool to see them both at ground/eye level and also hung up above me. ✈️👨‍✈️✨ FrankStites.com – at San Francisco, CA

On a side quest today; LAX-SFO! It has to do with #FrankStites and #airplanes! I love that today's flight with @AlaskaAir was entirely covered by miles I receive for riding with Lyft sometimes. Love their airlines! ✈️✨ #lax #trip

Last night was wrap night on Halloween Horror Nights. Our Terror Tram tradition of the Final Walk was epic! Lead by the ghost of Frank Stites, Log Bunny (our unofficial mascot), and The Terror Ape and The Ice Ape! Here's to another successful season of #TerrorTram! Until we meet again next summer...✈️👨‍✈️🪵🐰🕶️🫈🦧 @john_murdy #hhn #horrornights youtu.be/VhrQG8tvQmk – at Los Angeles, CA

Here is this year's year-end video I made for Terror Tram 2026! Tonight is wrap night, and I couldn't be more excited! We did 43 shows! 🎭🎃👻✨ youtu.be/KxxAk-bmj0E #terrortram #hhn #horrornights #halloweenhorrornights #universalstudios #universalstudioshollywood

I had a great time today at a fundraiser for @PETA! As a volunteer for PETA it was good to talk to donors about #animalrights. A lot of money was raised to help the cause for animals! ✊🏻💵🐰✨ – at Los Angeles, CA

I volunteered with @PETA today to help raise awareness about the horrific treatment dogs and other animals, are receiving in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles. Along with the numerous people who need help there, as of late the animals there are getting drugged, breed illegally and neglected. PETA is asking for LA City to do these dogs better!✊🏻🐾 #animalrights #activism #volunteering #volunteer

Proud to stand up for the dogs today with PETA✊🏻🐾 #volunteer #volunteering #animalrights #activism

I am so proud of my partner, Topher for volunteering at his first vegan outreach event! We helped @PETA give away free vegan hot wings. There were 5 levels of spice!! We saw many try, but only a few made it all the way to level 5. Now after 4 hours of that, we are headed to the Halloween show to work it! ✊🏻🐓🐔✨ – at Los Angeles, CA

They're not wrong!

Today is Topher and I's 5 year anniversary! We met 13 years ago behind the back tail of the crashed plane set on the Universal backlot. I was bird watching and he was turning on show lights. We remained co-workers for years during the Halloween run, until 5 years ago we became lovers. That night 5 years ago, we stayed up for an almost all-nighter, took him to Frank Stites' grave for the first time in Inglewood, before we did a show at Universal. Today, we will return to that same spot in the backlot looking for the owls there that are very active this season. We are both divorced, marriage-free, permantely sterilized, not religious, he's vegan now (he was vegetarian already when we became lovers), and we shoot archery together with our medieval LARP group. We both encourage the best out of one another and Topher was really there for me 2-3 years back when I had surgeries. He's a great lover, an amazing bestie, and a fan-fucking-tastic human! Here's to 5 more years!💖🎭💡🏹🌲✨ – at Los Angeles, CA

Terror Tram had our first Ape sighting for the season on Sunday! The Terror Ape arrived with a message of Frank Stites...before The Ice Ape came and took the plane! Then, they took off for the hills. Be on the look out!❄️🫈🦧✈️ @john_murdy

I volunteered today at a @PETA protest against Petco. One of their breeders for parakeets was seen with nasty footage from an undercover investigation. While birds are always happier free in the wild, if one wants to share a life with a bird, they can be adopted, just like dogs and cats. There are many shelters and rescues just for birds. I used to rescue cockatiels 20 years ago and I found them all on petfinder.com, an online data-base of shelters and rescues. We're asking Petco to stop selling live animals from breeders. Please support pet supply stores that do not profit from the suffering of animals.✊🏻🦜✨ #activist #animalrights – at Los Angeles, CA

I commission my LARP friend Switchback (@chancanan_ ) to draw my HHN character every year. He did such a great job with the Snow Queen!❄️👑🎭👍🏻✨ – at Los Angeles, CA

One of the best weeks of the year!🐻

I just turned down a $3K booking because of HHN. I'm hurting over this one😭🎭

I love coffee, but I have to limit caffeine due to my migraine meds (which also have caffeine). This morning I decided to treat myself to some warm coffee. After around 3 sips, I GLORIOUSLY spilled the entire thermos on my laptop and floor cushion I was sitting on. I don't know if my laptop is gonna make it. Just really bad timing as I will not be able to replace it right now. This, among a thousand other reasons is why I, *DO NOT* believe in karma.💻☕️

Love the Snow Queen in the first shot!❄️👑🎭✨

Hard to believe that 9-11 was 25 years ago. I was just 17 years old. 🧠 #neverforget
