Last night, America elected a majority of democratic governors for the first time in decades. Proud to serve as the Finance Chair for the best party committee in the country. Dem Govs get it done.

If the remaining results go as expected, Democrats will hold governorships in states totaling 392 electoral votes.
A remarkable turnaround from eight years ago, when Dems held just 16 of the country’s 50 governorships. They steadily gained ground to hold 24 governor’s seats going into the midterm elections.
No GOP flipped a Democratic-held governor’s seat this year.

Democratic Governors across the country are getting shit done and standing up to the chaos, cruelty, and corruption every day — and after last night’s historic victories, we're now going to have a lot more joining our ranks.
I’ll be proud to work with each of them to lower costs, protect freedom, and continue to GSD.
The @DemGovs fight to win — and that's exactly what we did last night. Special thanks to @AndyBeshearKY, @GretchenWhitmer, and @Megmeedra for their work to elect Democratic Governors all across the country! 🇺🇸

For too long, our country hasn’t had enough women in executive leadership positions.
Now, we officially have a record number of Democratic women governors — 15!
And for the first time since 1992, there are 30 Democratic governors.
What an incredible night for @DemGovs!

More than a century and a half later, Sheppard’s great-great-granddaughter, Keisha Lance Bottoms, was elected governor of GA' ajc.com/politics/2026/11/kei…

Democrats can win anywhere; we should be fighting everywhere, and @RobSandIA just proved it. This race was one of @DemGov's top pick-up targets and we've been proud to be behind Rob from the beginning. This is what happens when we focus less on moving to the right or to the left, and more on moving forward. Thank you, Iowa!

What a win for my friend, @DavidCCrowley – the first Black governor of Wisconsin! Democratic governors win by staying true to our values of compassion, empathy, and doing right by our neighbors.
