I'm excited to announce our work on viral reactivation and dysvirosis in COVID-19 is now out in Nature! This paper explores the dynamic endogenous viral landscape in COVID-19, and shows correlation with clinical outcomes for patients.

Honored to share our Nature paper. In >1,000 hospitalized COVID-19 patients, ~50% had reactivation of dormant viruses creating a "dysvirosis" linked to worse acute COVID-19 and Long COVID outcomes. nature.com/articles/s41586-0… #LongCOVID #DellMed

In our study of 21,312 COVID-19 patients @CommsMedicine, neuropsychiatric complications & low albumin are key predictors of severe outcomes. Early nutritional evaluation is key! #LongCOVID #NeuroCOVID #COVIDResearch #Nutrition #COVID19@colemag9 doi.org/10.1038/s43856-025-0…
