New DOT IG report to Congress shows ADS-B installation progress. This is based on aircraft operations recorded by the FAA in the National Airspace System. A reminder that this equipment is mandatory to fly in most controlled areas of the NAS starting on Jan. 1.

Wow, wow, wow! SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket launched the STP-2 mission at 2:30am this morning. The two side cores, flying their second mission, returned to land successfully at Cape Canaveral. It was incredible. Simply incredible.
