Anyone with a criminal record or a mugshot or has spent time in #prison can look forward for being arrested for crimes they didn't commit simply because 'computer said so.' theguardian.com/technology/2…
This is exactly what it's like speaking to a psychologist in #prison
Just because you're in #prison doesn't mean you can't keep reaching for the stars...
There are so many people who speak about #prison despite never being locked into a cell. Even prison staff have no idea what it feels like to hear that cell door lock every night. If you want to know what prison life is like, speak to someone just released today.

It's pretty clear that these new facial recognition systems will be a way for police to harass #prison leavers and anyone with a criminal record. We'll never be allowed to move on from our past offences.

It's not just working class council estate dwellers who tamper with ankle tags after leaving #prison.
An excellent example of how #prison tension can turn into something amazing. #peersupport
Wow, this Reform UK councillor says children in care are 'evil'.

This is an incredibly accurate portrayal of #prison life right now....
This perfectly explains how people in #prison can essentially 'give up' via the phenomena of learned helplessness. When you've been told you're a failure you're entire life, you start to believe it. And being around successful people makes it worse.

It's amazing how the tough-guy facade drops when a little kindness is shown. This reminds me so much of how difficult #prison attitudes can be overcome with just a bit of compassion in a human way.
These are also phrases #prison leavers hear at #probation appointments...
