UWI has to become more student friendly. Hope the reforms will bear fruit. Undergraduate student have to see it as an option for postgraduate studies and not to because they have no other option. Too many horror stories especially for postgraduates and supervisors.

Don’t let bad times turn us into bad people. The winds may howl but we must not be swept away. We must remain good. Let us not to be consumed by the passions that had wrecks our society.
We must understand that we cannot afford anything other than calmness, foresight, clarity.

There should be a standard for how journalists post news related information even on their personal social media platforms. Everyone is just sounding like the village lawyer and I don’t like that. It’s not good for journalism.

Crime and violence have robbed us of a lot of things. It will take a good while before it feels normal and okay to do simple things like walking, jogging or loafing around in our communities without being hyper vigilant all the time. It has helped to erode that community spirit.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of the Saints. Help us to follow in their footsteps, grow in the likeness of Christ, seek Your will in all things, and dedicate our lives to Your glory and the service of others. Amen. #AllSaints

Congratulations to Barbados on being certified for Eliminating Mother-to-Child Transmission of HIV! 👏🏾👏🏾
26 countries have been certified. Fifteen of them are in the Americas. The Caribbean’s maternal health programme continues to demonstrate excellence.

Looking at a 2027 calendar.
- March monthend is a 5 day weekend!
- May and August monthends could be other 4-5 day weekends for some
- No holidays in April, June (sorry, I don't consider Saturday public holidays valid 😭), July or November – at Trinidad and Tobago

The Prime Minister said unions never protested over salary negotiations and/or back pay for the last ten years, and have only chosen to do so now because they wish to push racial divide.
