I'm so hope-pilled :)
Hey, friends! I'm just here to say that I want to congratulate the Serbian people, and I think Lula is going to win based on the numbers. I'm praying πŸ™β€οΈ

Maybe, but if he ends the triple lock and FPTP I can forgive anything
Andy Burnham is the platonic midwit. No wonder he's popular with a portion of the electorate. He's the personification of representative government, in that he represents the British public in all its idiocy, shallowness and unseriousness - but he can emote, so it's fine.

Please Burnham, don't do this
In British Columbia, the left-leaning NDP, headed by David Eby, has just sacrificed two more years in government by calling an early election only to get blown out by the BC Conservatives #oof

Diacritics make any language better! My favourite one, è, was extensively used by Shakespeare "Out, damnèd spot! Out, I say!"
Crazy how English is the only Latin script language that doesn't need to deface its letters with diacritics. More proot that English is the greatest language in history

I'm dreading a snap election. We've got 3 more years in this Parliament, no reason to risk it all when it could go catastrophically wrong.
If this polling lead can survive the upcoming budget, then we're getting a snap election. Very little doubt in my mind at this point.

Energy security, here we come!

The Greens are professional haters, truly awful
'Is that a really good use of his time?' 'Raising money for a cancer charity?' The Green Party's @floschechter brands Andy Burnham going on Gogglebox as 'ridiculous'.

Sounds an awful lot like my politics teacher...
Hated the Lib Dems for going into coalition with the Tories. Friends bought me a membership as a joke. 15 years on I've been a Lib Dem councillor for years. Petrified someone will discover my origin story.

It sounds crazy but George Galloway and Lee Anderson were simultaneously members of the Labour Party for two decades
It sounds crazy but there was a short time (roughly 2006 to 2008) were both Melenchon and Macron were simultaneously members of the french socialist party.

Historically, Britain has resisted authoritarianism much better than the continent. Very embarassing!
JUST IN: UK police arrest 15 y/o boy, seize his devices, & collect his DNA after he posted photo of a local politician edited to look like a rabbit.
