Umm... The only ship even remotely close to "sailing around" #Greenland is Swedish Icebreaker Oden. Last summer, with US and Danish scientists, we went further north along Greenland's west coast than any ship has done before.
So Oden is totally the "right ship" for this 😂
Lo and behold - The genomic history of the auroch!

Check out our new paper on wildebeest in @NatureComms! 🎉 We find evidence for archaic introgression of the black wildebeest into the blue wildebeest and detrimental effects of human activities on migratory populations. Congrats to all authors involved! nature.com/articles/s41467-0…

New paper out! 🎉🎉🎉
We take a deep dive into the evolutionary history of giraffes. 🦒 There is a lot of discussion about if this is 1 species (as it is currently on the IUCN Red List) or actually more than 1. This is crucial to guide conservation. 🧵

How do you do population genomics in a species without genetic variation?
Find out in our new publication in @molecology titled "Population genomics of the muskox' resilience in the near absence of genetic variation" 🧵
