> policy driven
> angry that good policies passed
I don’t care about parties, I’m 100% policy driven. The fact that NYC voters passed all 5 ballot props can only mean one thing, they didn’t research before voting on them. Because they directly take away power from the community. It’s sad to see so many handed over our power to inept & corrupt politicians.
The @sarithaforny loss hits hard. Overqualified & ready to get to work. Very disappointed in this result.
BUT, not all is doom and gloom. I’m deflated about some results but overall very proud of my fellow Americans. Even those who voted differently than I did. Why? Because this is America & a robust voter turnout is a successful Election Day.
Let’s hope this is a wake up call for the Republican Party. Voters are angry and we need change. Let’s also hope the Democrat Party reigns itself in, and uses their new found power for good. Not extremist chaos, but real checks & balances. Do I think that either political machine is capable or willing to do this? No.
Am I proud of actively engaged American voters (even if I disagree)? Absolutely

Fuck you and get the fuck out of our politics, overturn Citizens United.
AIPAC congratulates the hundreds of pro-Israel Democrats and Republicans who won their elections last night. More than 234 candidates supported by AIPAC members have already won, with many additional races still too close to call. We congratulate Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer and House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries on the resounding victories for their caucuses.
AIPAC members are determined to expand their political activism in the cycles ahead. Our community will increase its support for Democrats and Republicans who recognize that a strong partnership with Israel helps keep both countries secure, advances peace and stability, promotes democratic values, and grows our economy through trade and innovation.

Bad faith Murdoch plant, yep. Literally one of the architects of the trans panic in the UK. If you truly hate hate, you have to be intolerant of intolerance. If you give them an inch, then they take a mile like they did in the UK.

AOC confirms Haley Stevens is the reason she left her hair gloss in too long!!!
😂
Oldest anti imperialist party in the world, my friend.
Going to become a progressive wing partisan, the period of unity is over, now we go after Hakeem Jeffries and Chuck Schumer, I didn't vote to put them in charge.

He's 100% right, @SenSchumer is well past his best before date!
He's stuck back in the 1980's in his mind...
TIME FOR NEW YOUNG BLOOD!
🚨 EL-SAYED REFUSES TO BACK SCHUMER FOR SENATE MAJORITY LEADER
Michigan Senator-elect Abdul El-Sayed declined to endorse Chuck Schumer for Democratic Senate leader, despite Schumer’s support for his campaign.
“I do believe we need new leadership and I think people are hungry for it,” El-Sayed declared.
The outspoken Israel critic signals growing divisions within the Democratic Party over its leadership and direction.
Idk how many times I have to tell people but Abdul is not in the DSA nor is he even associated with them, shut the fuck up if you're gonna spread misinformation.
Abdul El-Sayed is doing exactly what we all expected him to do.
He’s already operating from such a far-left place he’s causing a headache for the Democratic establishment who did this to themselves by rolling over to such DSA-aligned candidates.
People like him will shift the party so far to the left they’ll squander the fruits of the blue tsunami.
I’m talking over the span of multiple years of course.
But Abdul will be the first person to be criticized in any future red wave, however long that may take.
Abdul El-Sayed is the first ever Senate member of “The Squad.”
