Alberta is mourning alongside the Canadian Armed Forces and the families, friends and colleagues of those affected by the tragic incident at Canadian Forces Base Wainwright yesterday. The loss of life and injuries are heartbreaking. On behalf of the Government of Alberta, I extend my deepest condolences to the families who have lost loved ones and wish those who have been injured a full recovery. Our thoughts are also with the military personnel, families and colleagues facing uncertainty and grief during this incredibly difficult time. We are deeply grateful to the first responders, paramedics, physicians, nurses and hospital teams across Alberta who have mobilized to provide care to those injured. Albertans should all be incredibly proud of their frontline health care workers and our acute care system that has managed this mass casualty event. We’re also thankful to our neighbours in Saskatchewan who did not hesitate to support our response with additional air ambulance capacity, and to other provinces who have reached out offering their support and condolences. I will be traveling to Edmonton today to meet with provincial ministers and federal officials. The Government of Alberta continues to work closely with the federal government and local authorities. We have convened our Emergency Management Cabinet Coordination Committee and the Provincial Emergency Coordination Centre (PECC) has been activated to a level 3. As a mark of respect for those who have lost their lives and in solidarity with the military community and their families, flags at provincial government buildings across Alberta will be lowered to half-mast. In the days ahead, our thoughts will remain with everyone affected by this tragedy. Alberta stands with the Canadian Armed Forces, the people of Wainwright and all those grieving during this difficult time.

Another church has been lost in Canada. For nearly 70 years, All Saints Orthodox Church was a vessel for worship, community, charity and fellowship. Families were baptized there, married there, mourned there, raised funds there and came together in service to one another. More than 100 churches have been burned, vandalized or desecrated across Canada in recent years. Christianity is being targeted, and cowardly silence has become an enabler. There has been no urgency from Prime Minister @MarkJCarney and Minister @Gary_SRP. Those who burn churches to condemn “hatred” become the embodiment of that hatred. Protect our churches. Prosecute those responsible. cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatche…

The EU is unable to control its borders. The result is chaos, poverty & crime. We already have options for foreign students, both ways, but this is frightening & wrong. Don’t open Canadian borders to the European Union!

The head of Mark Carney’s Investment Agency suddenly resigns days before hosting a supposedly massive Investment Summit. Carney installs the very powerbroker whose company broke rules to take $200 million in taxpayers money and “supercharged” the opioid crisis that killed 50,000 Canadians. The guy was the architect of the Century Initiative, which pushed for mass immigration that drove wages down, rent up, and corporate profits through the roof. When will the media ask some serious questions about what the hell is going on here?

On Aug 18 Greer said there will be "digital trade alignment". 12+ hours later, on Aug 19, @MarkJCarney thanked LeBlanc. Why did Carney say that last minute changes to discoverability derail the deal, if he thanked LeBlanc after seeing Greer's digital trade celebration? He lied!

JUST IN Ethics Committee will meet TUESDAY to investigate Mark Carney’s developer bailout. Carney won’t even say who lobbied him for this. Taxpayers shouldn’t be on the hook for Liberal insiders’ bad investments. Will the Liberals shut this down or work with us to get answers?

Why is the French government banning a pro Iran, peaceful demonstration in support of democracy and freedom? One day they are hosting the G7 and the next they are appeasing the Iranian regime and suppressing free speech. BTW- this shows who the Regime is afraid of …
🚨 #Breaking | Simay Azadi Footage received by Simay Azadi shows French police using force to prevent the Free Iran rally in Paris from taking place. The demonstration had been authorized for months but was abruptly canceled just one day before it was scheduled to be held. The decision was later challenged in court. In its ruling, the Paris Administrative Court stated that the police ban was based on generic and insufficient grounds, while citing intelligence reports indicating that the June 20 gathering faced threats from both the Iranian regime and pro-monarchy groups.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE?: A special Parliamentary committee has just recommended the Liberal government halt plans to expand Medical Assisted in Dying (MAID) to those with mental illness. Amid that breaking news, CTV News Channel chose to ignore it on its national morning news show and instead interview two women who happily extolled the virtues of MAID. Worse yet? Viewers were told the segment on CTV News Channel was SPONSORED by the pro-MAID entity: Wecanchoose.ca That website was repeatedly promoted throughout the interview. How does that fit with CTV’s journalistic mission statement?: “To uphold journalistic integrity and independence under all circumstances and at all times, without exception.”

Thousands of lives will be saved because we forced Liberals to back down from MAID for mental illness. Conservative MP @TamaraJansenMP’s Bill C-218, plus the brilliant arguments by MP @MichaelCooperMP and the courageous personal story of MP @AndrewLawton, changed the debate and stopped government from telling struggling people to give up on life. Keep the hope alive. Keep the fight alive.

Every time the Liberals announce a plan to lower food costs, you can count on two things: ✔️Food will remain expensive ✔️The media will give them glowing reviews anyways No mention of failed plans from the past decade, just applause for recycled proposals with new names.

Liberals promised for the dozenth time to make food affordable in another costly announcement yesterday that promises billions of tax dollars for the programs that have failed for a decade. And, of course, the media censored any criticism and provided an infomercial for the Liberals.
NO balance from CTV and Global in their coverage of Carney‘s grocery price illusion last night: On the latest Liberal announcement they: - gave Carney glowing coverage without any Conservative response in their stories. -never mentioned it’s Liberal policies that are causing inflation. - no mention of the multiple attempts the Liberals have made to address affordability that have failed miserably. The media should do their job and present all the facts to Canadians instead of of covering for Carney’s failures.

WARNING: Maritime Launch services issues a statement to markets in 2025 warning that it was not a going concern. Yet they continued to Liberals and received $200m of taxpayer funds as a result. I also examined the Lobbyist registry. In the last few years MLS lobbied 158 times in Ottawa almost all exclusively at the Ministerial Office level and PMO. There is a large amount of it 2025. Liberal insiders got very rich from this pump and dump scheme. otcmarkets.com/filing-file/0….

The Prime Minister’s video is another illusion. He says he wants a permanent rupture with our biggest customer while he keeps 90% of his personal investments in the U.S. He has doubled the deficit, negotiated no new free trade deals with any other country, approved no pipelines, and given Canada the worst food inflation, the worst household debt, the worst housing costs, and the only shrinking economy in the G7. Fear is not a plan. We must reverse Liberal taxes, deficits, and anti-resource laws so we can be affordable, safe, and strong at home.

I am disappointed to share that the Liberals and NDP voted unanimously against my Private Member’s Bill C-243. This Bill was an opportunity for all parties to collaborate and make a meaningful difference in the lives of families of murder victims. This is a disappointing outcome — not for me, but for the many Canadians who supported Bill C-243. It is disappointing to victims’ advocates and family members who were hoping this legislation would proceed. I will continue to push the Liberals on parole reform, until they listen to Canadians. #cdnpoli #canpoli
