Their work results in us updating our website. Participants have published 19,410,358 words as of today. If people are learning to communicate better, they are preparing for higher income streams when they leave prison and return to society. With free education to people in prison, we're working to end intergenerational cycles of poverty and recidivism. Thank you to the #BNB community.
Today, 9,317 people in federal prison participate in Prison Professors’ free educational programs—and USP Coleman leads our national leaderboard.
During my presentations at Coleman’s federal prisons, I met many of our top participants. I also met staff member Damond Talbot, who took the initiative to build a separate class around our free resources. He now has 26 participants.
