I was recently made aware of an account on Instagram that was impersonating me and the account has since been deleted. I truly appreciate everyone who reached out to let me know about it and am sorry for the confusion it may have caused.
My only Instagram account is @michaelmillersc , which you can follow to stay informed on what's going on at the Charleston County Register of Deeds Office and in the community!

The Charleston County Register of Deeds Office will be reopening on Friday for our normal hours, as I was informed this morning that all members of our leadership team have tested negative for COVID-19.
The offices were cleaned and sanitized thoroughly and all necessary precautions were taken to ensure the safety of ROD Office staff as well as the individuals utilizing the ROD Office. Now we are ready to continue to serve the citizens of Charleston County.
I am happy to report that my children received their COVID-19 test results back today and they are COVID-19 negative! I will continue to keep my distance from others until my quarantine is complete. Please remember to continue to practice social distancing and proper hygiene!
Last week after not feeling like myself, I was advised by my physician to get tested for COVID-19 and yesterday my results came back positive. My symptoms were severe bodyaches and a fever. Unfortunately, I may have unknowingly and unintentionally exposed the ROD Office.
My leadership team will be tested on Thursday and I pray they are not infected. I am currently quarantined away from my family and I am concerned for their health, as well as the health of my staff and the citizens who may have been exposed while visiting the Office.
