At the end of the day, WMU is a business. They are competing against other universities (businesses) for students. And they want to limit expenses. Custodial Services doesn't generate revenue, so it's strictly an expense in the eyes of administration.
I would love to have Malachi Toney and/or Jeremiah Smith play at Western Michigan next season. I believe this is Jalen Buckley's final year of eligibility, these players arriving would help soften the blow of such a devastating loss.
