Foot paths connecting Catholic Homesteads and Monasteries. Bells across the countryside ring for daily office and Mass. Scythes swooshing while hay falls down, hammers sounding while homes and Churches rise.
Letβs work together towards a good and beautiful posterity.
First time on this trip I was routed to a completely incorrect location by map program. Iβm not even sure where the address I went to came from. Very odd. Good for me. I always leave lots of extra time on travel days so Iβll still make my engagement. But Iβm scratching my head trying to figure out how it happenedβ¦
My phone mustβve auto corrected in a copy paste for an address Morrilton Arkansas to Huntington, Arkansas. Itβs a two hour difference in locations. Woof.

Just found out our across the road neighbors are selling their 100 acre farm complete with remodeled 3 years ago house to their grand nephew for what they paid for it in 1972. He's getting a million dollar lot for $92,000. He's been harvesting their soybeans and corn for the last few years and I'm so excited to see what he does with the place, this is how you set the next generation up for success. They're also gifting him all the equipment, tractors, combine, boom truck, skid steer and who knows what else, their equipment barn is huge.
Not really taking many pictures but Iβve had a fantastic week at Clear Creek OK. The community and monks are inspiring. The dusty back roads are beautiful at dusk.
The distributist cry remains today as it was in yesteryear that is β¦ property, and the means of production must be widely held by many men. That the cycles of production must be integrated locally with culture and economy. This is the Nazareth which the distributist looks to return to.
Both property and means of production find no more base expression than in the very soil of the Earth given to us by God for stewardship. Any serious distributist with a firm hold on the motivating principles will find himself drawn by a magnetic pull back to an agrarian life.

Goodness remains constant and perennial while evil shifts with guile through circumstance. The wounds of todayβs problems yearn for the salve of yesterdayβs solutions. The Catholic Church as the longest running human institution safeguards in her catacombs a vast arsenal and treasurey of ages. She alone with clarity can pull the past forward for the salvation of the future, for her foundation is built on the totality of eternity.
