No wonder Putin, Xi and the IRGC think that, in the 21st century battle between autocracy and liberal democracy, they’re winning.

British politics does not know the meaning of due diligence.
STATEMENT: Last week, I was approached through US contacts asking to meet Mr Zampolli, whom I was told to be a close associate of President Trump and his administration. I accepted in good faith, with the intention of exploring opportunities to strengthen trade relations and develop closer economic ties between the United States and our region. That was the sole purpose of the meeting. I had no knowledge of the matters that have subsequently emerged or the allegations surrounding Mr Zampolli. As a woman and a mother of course, had I been aware of the allegations, then the meeting would not have taken place. I have also since removed the video featuring Mr Zampolli. My thoughts remain with Epstein’s victims and survivors. They deserve justice, and anyone found guilty and to have been involved in those horrific crimes must be held accountable.

What we see is late-stage socialism. The utter destruction of freedom & economic activity by the all-encompassing nanny state, a black hole engulfing any glimpse of ambition, effort, profit, and entrepreneurial spirit. Wealth creation is seen as suspicious, it's all about wealth redistribution, except that when you do this for decades, it's wealth destruction (-0.1% Q3 2026), there is less & less to redistribute, and public services are failing one after the other. It's mathematically unsustainable.

About time Campbell got called for what he is, well said Zia and we need more of this - don't let these bastards get away after what they did to Iraq.
Alastair Campbell did not appear to enjoy being called a war criminal to his face: The truth hurts.

This is what an experienced gamedev with AI can do. Those who think this will only bring slop are wrong. In good hands, we can now raise the ceiling much higher.

Well, another Cardinal has come out with a, shall we say, puzzling take on evangelization. A few years ago, Cardinal Américo Aguiar, at the time auxiliary bishop of Lisbon, said that he and the other organizers of World Youth Day in his hometown had no interest in converting anyone to Christ. Now Cardinal Jean-Paul Vesco of Algeria has opined that “the Church is not there to convert” and “Christians should approach other religions through fraternity rather than seeking conversions.” Excuse me, but…what? Last time I checked, the Founder said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Sure sounds like conversion to me. When St. Paul came to Corinth or Athens or Thessalonica, his purpose was not to listen or to form a discussion group but rather to declare an unnerving message: the euangelion (glad tidings) that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead. So impassioned is he for this work that he says, “I have become all things to all people, that I might by all means save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel” (1 Cor. 9:22); and “If I proclaim the gospel, this gives me no ground for boasting, for an obligation is laid on me, and woe to me if I do not proclaim the gospel” (1 Cor. 9:16)! Moreover, the entire thrust of the Second Vatican Council was toward bringing the Light of Christ to the peoples of the world (Lumen Gentium). And this missionary élan has given rise in the last few decades to the idea of a “new evangelization,” which is to say, a fresh declaration of the Lordship of Christ. Quite obviously, no one thinks that this work of evangelization should be done in a brow-beating, overbearing, or disrespectful manner (proselytization), but for God’s sake, let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater. If I really thought that the Church does not exist to bring people to Christ, then I would resign and get an honest job.

An Israeli soldier stands in front of a church in the historic southern Lebanese village of Al-Qawza. Soldiers have blocked the entrance with dirt. The church, Saint Joseph (Mar Youssef), was constructed in 1927. The 1927 construction was a modern rebuilding on top of an earlier parish foundation dating to the 19th century. While this photograph shows a part of the church, the surrounding architecture has been completely decimated by deliberate Israeli attacks.

Another ad for @reformparty_uk to use but I doubt they will listen...
🚨 NEW: Tory MP calls Robert Jenrick a "Neanderthal" for backing cuts to £6 Billion spent on foreign aid. • Tory MP Andrew Mitchell has described Jenrick as a “Neanderthal” in the House of Commons over his support for reducing the UK’s foreign aid budget. • The response came following a question from Jenrick to Labour's Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband. "How would he justify to working people and pensioners spending £6 billion on foreign aid whilst freezing the tax-free person allowance and cutting the state pension?" • Miliband backed up the Tory, by replying with "I would say to him, I think the answer came from the person who used to be in his party, the party he used to be in, which is that the money we spend on foreign aid is absolutely about preventing the problems from elsewhere in the world coming here."

Sky News, Channel 4, ITV, BBC, Daily Telegraph, The Times, Independent and The Guardian hate regular voters because we have people on Twitter/X exposing Burnham for what he is whilst they suck up to them. Burnham has constantly got away with lying, voters are fighting back.
