Okay so my MC used to be this kind and caring guy in books 1 and 2, and now in book 3 after he loses someone, he turns into a cynical and mean character to mask his pain and it's tearing me to pieces. 😭 I didn't even plan for this to happen. He just opened his mouth, and BAM! 😭
