Excellent post in response to "Doctor" El-Sayed's lie of Medicare for All. Key quote: price controls do not make medicine cheap. They make it scarce.
We all lose if El-Sayed wins.
Let me tell you what Obama started. Nothing. The government takeover of medicine starts in 1965 with Medicare and Medicaid. Washington adds the DRG price-fixing system in 1983, where bureaucrats set what a hospital stay is worth. Then come the HMO mandates, certificate of need laws, the FDA's decade-long approval gauntlet, and fifty state insurance codes dictating what every policy must cover. By the time Obama signs the ACA, the government already pays about half of every health dollar in the country. He finished nothing and started nothing. He added one more floor to a structure that has been going up for sixty years.
Now look at what it costs. In 1960, before the takeover, health care runs about 5 percent of GDP and most people pay their doctor directly, out of pocket, at prices they can afford on ordinary wages. Today it is roughly 18 percent of GDP, federal health programs run $1.8 trillion a year, the largest item in the budget, and you call the result a market failure.
Under the capitalist stretch of American medicine, penicillin goes from a miracle reserved for soldiers to pennies a dose in a few years. The polio vaccine reaches every schoolchild in the country. Prices fall because producers compete for customers who pay their own bills. That is what made cures available to everyone.
Your plan is one buyer, fixed prices, and a pipeline that answers to a budget office instead of a patient. Price controls do not make medicine cheap. They make it scarce. The cures that would have reached everyone will reach no one, including the men on that stage, because a drug that is not invented saves nobody, and no one can tax his way to a pill that does not exist.

Abdul wants to take money from your pocket and fund reparations with it. He said, “I literally went on Jesse Watters and defended reparations.” The same guy who wants $50T Medicare for freeloaders also wants to tack on another $15T to fund historical grievances. He plans on taxing us into oblivion, while still not admitting it’s socialism.
They're piling it on now, Michigan.
I voted, my kids voted, my husband voted.
Republican up and down the ballot.
We can do this.

JUST VOTE
IF WE TURN OUT AND VOTE, WE WIN
The Center for Voter Information bills itself as non-partisan but is not. It is a Soros-funded DSA Democrat group that promotes lies about Republican candidates including Mike Rogers. Don’t fall for their nonsense.
Ken Paxton was my hero during the Biden years. He fought back against open borders, vaccine mandates and gender insanity while radicals took over up here in the far north.
Texas, do the right thing!
Today is a great day to vote early in person in Texas for @KenPaxtonTX.
I’m hearing we are seeing near-presidential-level turnout in some counties.
I voted, did you?
Vote by mail, vote early in-person or vote on Nov. 3.
Vote Republican! Beat DSA Democrats!
Elissa Slotkin speaks about young Trump supporters just like a university faculty member or DEI administrator. They hate Republicans, they do everything in their power to degrade them. They will explode full force if we lose on Nov. 3.

Capitalism built a flying car that uses air.
Any questions?
We are not the same. 😎

Super weird to talk about supporting Michigan agriculture when you’ve bulldozed farmland for your husband’s data centers.

President Obama repeatedly bragged about killing Osama Bin Laden but has now endorsed Abdul El-Sayed whose mother worked for a group that raised money for Bin Laden.
The University of Michigan’s Center for American Dialogue is a very weak response to generations of leftist indoctrination.
Meanwhile, "systemic change" is still a core value in LSA, the Education school trains people to disrupt “inequities in schools” and DEI lives on. @RegentHubbard
Obama headlining a DSA/Democrat rally in Detroit means we can win.
Remember when he campaigned for Kamala in Michigan and then she lost?
