God bless Led By Donkeys. God bless them.
🚨We just dropped in on Farage’s election rally with a beaming picture of Putin. Nigel was not pleased.

Things Can Only Get Better is of course the most appropriate song for today, but let me throw another one into the ring to add a little variety…

Every time Rishi Sunak appears in a TV interview he goes down in my estimation, and he was pretty low to start with. Evasive, insincere, arrogant and patronising. I haven’t heard him answer a single question. He just churns out that he could save families £5, £10, £15, £20K.

If Sunday Times is correct that Sunak wants to abolish inheritance tax, this quote in its scoop from a government insider is just priceless, by way of justification for the tax cull: “a lot of people don’t know that they won’t pay it”. The point, which this government adviser thinks few people know, is that the tax is only payable on estates worth more than £1m, for most families. So the PM would be campaigning to give a tax break for a minority, predominantly in London and the rich south, but his colleagues apparently think the vast majority won’t notice

Yes, yes and yes!

Stop what you're doing and watch this. Rugby legend Kevin Sinfield was running a marathon but stopped at the finish line so he could carry his friend, Rob Burrow, across. Rob was diagnosed with motor neurone disease four years ago.
