For the last ~2 years I’ve been working on this, now published @NatureMicrobiol! It’s an evolution experiment on @wolbachia-infected @mosquitoes. We identify genetic variation in protection against @dengue infection and how it determines mosquito fitness. nature.com/articles/s41564-0…

Pleased to see in @NatureMicrobiol today my first 1st author paper from @broadinstitute/@MIT showing that bacterial metabolic state is better correlated with #antibiotic lethality than growth rate (& proof that my PhD was not a fluke) - awesome job team!!
