We’re having a great time at #ASME2024!! This is a huge UK wide conference all about #meded. It’s been great to learn from & network with so many colleagues!
We are making no fewer than TWELVE presentations this year - read about them below 👇
@MidYorkshireNHS @MY_LenRichards
They were immediately followed by back to back presentations by Kate, on “escaping the surgical intimidation game” and a theme spotting game to replace the traditional “chunk and check” method in undergraduate surgical teaching.
Last week we had a great time on our Access Into Medicine (AIM) course!
60 Year 11 and 12 pupils from local schools came to find out more about careers in medicine and healthcare professions. They got to speak to our doctors and nurses, and got hands-on BLS and clinical skills!
We’re delighted to be celebrating our @MidYorkshireNHS medical education award winners at our MESH Conference today!! 🎉🎉🎉
These colleagues have gone above and beyond in providing educational experiences to the medical students who come to Mid Yorks for their placements.
Dr Selin Kabadayi has done an amazing job leading the ICU/anaesthetics placement - Thank you so much for teaching me and being patient in answering all my questions. Thank you again and hope to work with you in the future and learn from our ways in medicine”
Congratulations to all our award winners, and thank you SO MUCH to all @MidYorkshireNHS staff involved in undergraduate education!!
