Including myself who have been ardent supporters of Israel. I am Jewish and sat on the Board of the ZOA years ago. Many Michiganders have supported Israel since ints inception. However. It is not require Jews to support a leader who is and has been investigated and accused of war crimes. Nor does it require Jewish Americans to support killing innocent civilians and children. We were once victims of a dictator like Bibi. He is not a democrat but a dictator. He has caused many of our allies to turn against Israel creating irreparable harm. The Jewish Americans around the world are losing support for Israel damaging the progress made over past decades. And Trump has much to blame. Less than 40 percent of Americans support Trump. He has ruined our reputation around the world for decency and honesty and credibility. He has turned friends into enemies. He has killed innocent children and adults. We don’t support killing civilians who haven’t committed crimes. I have degrees in history and law and studied Hebrew for over 70 years. I suggest you read “The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich”. Written years ago by a Pulitzer Prize winner William Shirer who was in Germany as a reporter throughout the Holocaust. It is probably the leading history of the Holocaust despite its aging. He was a reporter throughout the war. Dictators whether Trump or Hitler or Putin are not friends of Democracy. Bibi has killed innocent children. The US has given him billions of dollars. Europe and Asia and others who have supported Israel are finished with us. And whether you agree or not with Mamdami he has minimal influence as a Governor over policy. And NY has the largest concentration of Jews in the US. Trump has never been a favorite of Jews unless they donate billions to him. He doesn’t live by the Torah or Constitution. He is vindictive and vengeful. If you are against Mamdami. You should be against Bibi. Putin. Trump. They only support Israel for the votes and the billions we send them for their military activities. You are busy supporting dictators. The wealthy. Criminals. Trump alone has committed 34 or more felonies and is a convicted sexual abuser. Jewish voters have a right to be disgusted. It doesn’t mean they should support the alternatives. Maybe we need more qualified alternatives.
