Mudharris was the kind of teacher who could draw out the best in his students. I still have a handwritten note from him, writing out meticulously the tasks for me as Cheynu President. I learnt so much from him. And he tolerated so much of our shenanigans.
May he rest in peace.

It was a great honour and privilege to present my Letters of Credence today, to His Excellency Tô Lâm, General Secretary of the Communist Party and President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, as the Ambassador of Maldives to Viet Nam.

🌍Joined my counterparts at the Joint Arab-Islamic Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem during #UNGA81HLW.
I called for our response on Jerusalem to move from condemnation to coordinated action.
The Maldives calls for the protection of Al-Quds and its holy sites, an end to illegal settlement activity and forced displacement, and stronger international action to uphold the rights of the Palestinian people.
