I have picked up many new followers the last 3 days. Here is a visual representation of topics I cover for those new here, or for those wanting a refresher course. Welcome to everyone new here, and thank you to those who have stuck with me!

Still a few weeks left in the golf season in Iowa, but time for my updated Iowa Top 10 golf courses list: 1) Cedar Rapids CC 2) Davenport CC 3) The Harvester 4) The Silo Club 5) Wakonda CC 6) Elmwood CC 7) Des Moines Golf North 8) The Ridge Golf Club 9) Des Moines Golf South 10) Spirit Hollow Notes: *Elmwood is still the most fun, and with more short grass returning, it has potential to move up *The Silo Club is great, can't wait to see it after a couple seasons of maturing *The new Finkbine will rank very very highly on this list when opened

Equalled a lifetime best 14 GIR today. Somehow two of my missed greens came on par 5s. If my putter would have cooperated a bit better...

I am home. 😍

One of the engineers that I work with has this sign. You can bet we had a serious discussion about proper pace of play.

I know I should know this... Why does my ball speed go up when I accidentally draw it? Same clubhead speed, not wildly different spin, and a draw goes faster than a cut.

If you had "Yes" and "36", give yourself 2300 Internet points. Played in 1 hr, 9 minutes. Had a little waiting on 7-9. I hit 8/9 GIR. I play my best when I don't have time to think.

The deer problem in my town is out of control.

The new GHIN app is shaming me. 😞

Playing golf with some good Iowa people today... In shorts! @DevonDembinski @515ideas @realkellybrown

The grass isn't always greener. They would have built a statue of this guy in Ames, IA for winning 7-9 games per year, and the occasional bowl game.
