Was Newcastle United's signing of Elanga under or overpriced?

The Lowdown is out on a Monday this week!
@MikeMcCub and myself are joined by the excellent @LyesBouzidi10 to preview the Champions League semi-finals!
2 of us backed Arsenal to win the whole thing...

If I were Brighton, Forest, Fulham or even West Ham I'd be making serious enquiries about Delap... United and Chelsea are risky places to go and there's no guaranteed starting spot at Newcastle as long as Isak is around.
Discussing this and more on the latest Lowdown 👇
Seeing a lot of disbelief at this debate. My take:
- By WC 2026 Nwaneri will be 19 and could be scarily good
- He has developed in a possession system, like Tuchel's
- England need more creativity, and Bowen is primarily a scorer
- Ageing squad, we need a youngster in there imo

This was a lot of fun!
For the first time, we did The Lowdown live and @LyesBouzidi10 and @MikeMcCub were on sensational form

Well, I'm looking to do another one and need 20 Premier League fans! If you're a content creator, fan of a Premier League club, or can passionately discuss them, reply to this or send me a DM!
Big question is would Palace even consider selling him? One of the best number nines in the Prem, and a problem position at Palace for a long time prior to Glasner's arrival. In 2025, if you have a centre-forward who scores consistently, you keep hold of them at any cost 🤷♂️

Couldn't have said it better myself. First worked with @MinaFootball in 2022 when she joined us on an FD video, was impressed with her analysis then and she's only got better since. (1/2)
Ever since we posted this clip of @MinaFootball talking about De Bruyne potentially moving to Saudi Arabia she has been abused on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok… and it’s simply not acceptable.
We asked Mina to come back on The Lowdown this week because she is one of the most articulate, knowledgeable and passionate guests we’ve had on.
The ease with which she speaks with informed authority, seamlessly switching between the men’s and women’s game is the reason why she is one of the most impressive emerging content creators in the space.
I’m fed up of internet trolls talking about wokeness or box ticking, every time a person who isn’t a straight, white, male talks publicly about football. It’s honestly pathetic.
Mina you’re awesome at what you do, ignore the idiots and keep smashing it! ❤️
The final Lowdown of 2024 is here!🎄
Myself, @DougieCritchley and @psmithXI pick ONE January signing to save your club from relegation!💰
Wild, sensible and in-between suggestions are debated.. even Rayan Cherki pops up 👀
