A Democratic sweep in the midterms won’t magically fix everything overnight. But between Trump entering lame-duck territory and Democrats gaining the subpoena power to check his corruption, the fever will finally start to break. It’s a long road back, but this is where the turnaround begins.

This is absurd enough that’s it’s almost certain to turn Alaskans away from Dan whatever his name is.
NEW: Experts roundly panned DOJ's Alaska lawsuit as frivolous, viewing it more as an effort to sow distrust and chaos at the president's behest.
One noted it seems to cut against DOJ's own guidance about the limits of its role in election processes. politico.com/news/2026/10/23…

The Republicans who are complicit in Trump’s alliance with Putin will be remembered as the Butchers of Ukraine. @SenRonJohnson @LeaderJohnThune @RogerWicker
When I looked at this photo, I cried. Today, russians killed this baby. I have a one-year-old daughter. And russia has killed hundreds of children like this.
Yes, russia is a terrorist state. But now, I want all Trump supporters to understand that they share responsibility for what has happened to this child and what is happening in Ukraine.
The US Congress has approved funds and Patriot missiles for Ukraine, but Trump stopped them. Also, the United States once again didn't warn Ukraine about the russian attack.
Not only have Trump and his supporters stopped helping Ukraine, but they have also sided with russia. The diesel deal was just the beginning. Now, the Trump administration is preparing to further ease sanctions against russia by lifting restrictions on russian oil tankers, gas, and certain companies and individuals.
Also, Trump is exploring ways to take control of frozen russian assets. These assets should be used to compensate Ukraine for the destruction caused by russian aggression, but Trump wants to give them back to russia.
Neither history nor humanity will be kind to Trump and his supporters. They will be remembered as the enablers of russian genocide against the Ukrainian people.
The U.S. has become an ally of Russia for one reason: Donald Trump.
Breaking news: The Trump administration has not approved the transfer of interceptor missiles to Ukraine that are needed to protect the country from Russian attacks, officials said, a delay that comes as President Trump has embraced Russia in recent weeks. wapo.st/4yCb7T7

The president and his administration are supercharging American decline, and adding both shame and dishonor to that decline.
.@SECWAR: "Under the previous administration—whether it was October 7th, the war in Ukraine, or the withdrawal in Afghanistan—the world looked at America and WONDERED whether or not we were capable of executing the way we did in the past...
PRESIDENT TRUMP SAID WE WILL NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN DECLINE."
