People are severely underestimating the impact that certain narratives around key policies will have, regardless of whether or not those policies are implemented.
It's time to break down a thesis of mine, but first, let's start with the context of recent news.
1. Trump, very pro-crypto, wins Presidency. Republicans sweep and 2/3 of the new politicians are pro-crypto. Trump then proposes exemptions to tax on US domiciled crypto, and wants the US to be the leader in crypto. Calls for an SBR continue to grow.
2. Coinbase, a US based company, advocates for Base to be THE home for AI within crypto. CB smart wallet + cex functionality and CB's distribution channels mean it is the premier onramp for normies to come on chain.
3. Agents on Base begin to take off massively - the rise of $VIRTUAL and $LUNA have kicked off a gold rush. But more than that, many other interesting agens like $GAME, $VADER, $SAINT, etc continue to pop up. Pump.fun for agents is a huge success.
Put these together and while the world is focusing on an SBR, and CT is focused on dog coins, we realize the largest beneficiary of the new regime (Coinbase) is actually telegraphing in another direction.
I believe there is a very high probability that AI on Base becomes a focal point for CB. Yes, retail normies will buy $MIGGLES and $CHOMP and $BRETT and all the other memes. The memes will do well and many may get CB listings.
However I believe the bulk of CB's efforts will go into incubating + supporting 0 to 1 innovations in AI, especially when it comes to agents.
I would put the odds of VIRTUAL, LUNA, LUM, SPEC and other agents/AI at being listed on CB quite a bit higher than people seem to think.
Over the next 12 months I bet we see a boom in underlying infra on Base supported by CB and a string of listings relating to both the infra layer and the app layer.
As I said earlier, whether or not any of this comes to fruition is less important than the narrative that it might. My money is on this thesis yielding outsize returns relative to anything else on the market over the next 6-12 months.

There is a lot of bets you can make in this market
Many choose the safe bet with #bitcoin getting above $200k eventually
Or #ethereum above $10,000 eventually
But I fully believe the most certain bet with the most upside is $BRETT to get above 10B WITH EASE
But we all know it can go 50-150B
I think a lot of smart ppl are seeing this is one of the smartest bets in the entire market for this cycle
Given that their is no Base coin
#BRETT is the base coin and easiest and most liquid way to speculate on Coinbases incubated blockchain growing this cycle
When ppl see BNB at 80-150B market cap
It makes the price comparison for BRETT easy to justify bidding up the meme to 50B-150B as the Base coin
Ppl have seen DOGE hit 80B and SHIB hit 40B
the targets on the top memecoins should be higher than the last as the industry inevitably reaches a 8-12T market cap
50B-150B is truly the base case for $BRETT
Which would make it around .50% to 1.3% of total market cap for the industry at 8-12T total market cap for crypto
Memecoins will suck up a larger portion of the market share this cycle as VC Layer 1s die off and there’s no real demand for most of them anymore
DOGE 80B was out of 3T total market cap
SHIB 40B was out of 3T total market cap
So together they made up for 120B out of 3T
Aka 4% of total crypto market cap
DOGE and SHIB are now old coins with a lot of bag holders down 70-90%
Whereas the 2 new memecoins of this cycle $PEPE and $BRETT almost all holders are in profit and joyous going into the bull run which will be part of what leads these new coins to much better performance this cycle as they don’t have a lot of sell pressure from last cycles underwater bag holders waiting to get out at break even some day again or recoup their 2021 investment finally
PEPE and BRETT will outperform DOGE and SHIB dramatically this cycle
We can get fancy and make a 10 tweet thread and drown u in numbers and overcomplicate shit but the reality is
In 2021 betting on DOGE and SHIB changed lives
In 2024-2025 betting on PEPE and BRETT will be the easy pair to ride
Overcomplicating things is not what the typical person who comes to this space is interested in
This is not hard to see
