I was a kid. I loved a team. I made a friend. We grew up. He made them great. We win. The end.

You have to read @mikesilver. Another terrific piece here.
The Minnesota Vikings’ defensive coordinator, Brian Flores, is a disruptor, taking on the entire NFL.
Flores, who carries an established reputation as an exacting disciplinarian, has empowered his players to do the heavy lifting. It's what makes Minnesota's defense so impactful.
More on Flores, in conversation with @/MikeSilver:

20 years? I remember it well from the stands. Shoutout to the #10s, Marshawn and Desmond Bishop. What a time.

A star player ended up with a life-threatening medical condition in the wake of several obvious risk factors... and the NFL's going with indignant condescension. My column for @TheAthletic

From @TheAthletic: If the NFL truly acted in the best interest of Jalen Hurts, one of its most decorated and well-known players, an investigation should substantiate that, our columnist writes. The league and the Eagles should have nothing to hide.

What a week for the NFL.

Rare show where the set break was the highlight 💀 🌹
Let's hear it for a Legend 👏
@mickeyhart from the @GratefulDead was a part of the halftime show at our Grateful Bears night!
I was perplexed by that for sure 👊🏼
Well written and reasoned as to why #NFL does not deserve benefit of doubt on Jalen Hurts
The biggest counterpoint, IMO, is that Hurts’ agent partnered with the team in releasing statement about his condition. This is not an endorsement of how everything was handled but is an indication of being on the same page
Good times
