Does your team communicate with their customers using a whiteboard?
If yes, how well?
If not, why?
What would happen if they started?
You know a guy.
SKOs RKOs Functional Team Meetings.
The Jets have been within 1 score in 4 out of 5 loses.
My view - and I haven't played the game since highschool, and I graduated HS a long time ago.
Glenn struggles with gametime decision making.
AND
Has the team that wants to play.
Work on the decision making, and good things will follow.
I'm more optimistic than I have been in years. And, it's been a lot of years.
If the #Jets were to fire Aaron Glenn, who do you think the next Head Coach should be❓
Sales is not a skill.
Leadership is not a skill.
Operations is not a skill.
Like most things these are the combination of skills, developed and honed over time into your craft.
Be a craftsman.
Looking for a speaker?
start here - talkadot.com/s/mikesimmons
if someone tells you that you "should" do something. do you think they are doing so because they really want to help?
me, i don't. I think it was tony robins that said "don't should on yourself"
it's one of those words that has a lot of guilt associated with it, and is academic. It's not based in reality.
Here's the better way...
- run some root cause analysis.
- gain clarity on your objectives.
- build your GAME Plan, and execute.
Looking for leadership?
Start with a mirror.
Leaders build leaders.
Leadership starts with self.
Leadership is how we move forward.
It's not a single skill. From my perspective, it is 5 skills that build over time. 5 skills you will never master. 5 skills you can hone over a lifetime.
Start building leadership capability (knowledge & skills) early. And continue to do so.
When you stop, you will slowly reduce your capability to think critically & think creatively.
Simple, Hard.
Have you ever attempted to do simmering with the wrong tool?
Hammer a nail with a screwdriver?
Screw in a screw with a knife or your finger nail?
If you’ve done it at home, how often do you think you may be doing it in your business?
